Great stay

Fantastic accommodation and location. The customer service team are brilliant. Only issue was the amount of flies in the lodge.

Great stay

Our stay was brilliant. To begin, the location and view were beautiful with the mountains and sheep in the fields surrounding the lodge. The lodge was great, had everything we needed for our stay. The hot tub was AMAZING. The small touches like the fresh milk and welcome hamper were unexpected but lovely. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Beautiful stay!

We stayed with our 2 children from 26th July 2023 for 2 days, lodge was lovely and clean and well presented. We loved the Hottub which was a nice relaxing treat after a busy day exploring Aberystwyth about a hour away. The children enjoyed the park on site and exploring the grounds with all the animals. Good value for money and we would definitely stay again

Perfect weekend getaway

Lovely, immaculately presented lodge in a beautiful area. The welcome hamper was a lovely addition - we particularly loved toasting the marshmallows in the fire. The hot tub was fantastic and it was amazing to watch the Red Kites flying above us. We hope to visit again one day!

Beautiful relaxing place to stay

We had a lovely time. It was my husband’s birthday and we wanted to go somewhere relaxing with beautiful views. The accommodation was great and had everything we needed and the welcome hamper was perfect. Our favourite bits were the sheep wandering around and the hot tub. Staying out in the dark waiting for the stars to come out was great.

Gorgeous place to stay with young family

We have been here before but another Hut and know what’s there and loved it kids loved it the only thing this time was the cleanliness as there was dead fly’s on the roof where you sleep which easily could be wiped clean and a smell from the bathroom was not very pleasant but didn’t put us off enjoying our stay in a gorgeous area, Hot tub was brilliant and at a great temperature even on arrival

Relaxing mid week stay.

We recently stayed at the meadow retreat, and had an amazing mid week break. The hut is in an amazing location with beautiful views and a very peaceful site. A lovely hamper of wealth goodies were left for our arrival. The hot tub was lovely to relax in after a day of walking.

Relaxing night away

We stayed in Meadows Retreat which was a beautiful lodge. It was warm, cosy and clean. I would definitely recommend staying here. We travelled over 2 hours and only stayed one night, next time we'll stay for 2 as check in isn't until 4pm and check out is at 10am which is late/early, you do have an option to pay to change these but it gets too expensive then. The hot tub was as expected - hot and bubbly, very relaxing! The outdoor area was also nice and you could hear the birds/sheep/dogs barking which was lovely. We also received a hamper on arrival with marshmallows, crisps, a small bottle of lemonade and welsh cakes, there were also some tourist leaflets there of activities around the local area. We can't wait until our next stay, thank you!☺️

Mid Wales stay

Stayed at the Rheadr site in January. The weather had been snowing therefore the conditions of the ramp up to the lodge was very icy and slippery - would be dangerous for anyone a little older/fragile. The accommodation itself was clean and comfortable on the whole. The sofa bed in the lounge area wasn't as comfy as the other beds but was ok. There wasn't much fairy liquid in the pod - had finished on the second day which was a little annoying. The snow and ice hadn't melted enough for us to drive to get anymore from anywhere and only 2 toilet rolls for the duration. Other than those 2 minor aspects we had a lovely stay. The hot tub was a lovely addition and kept it's temperature well. Will be visiting again.

Nice break

This was a last minute thing that my family member had booked with her friend but unfortunately there was a family emergency that meant she was unable to go. I jumped at the opportunity as My sister, who has had cancer and in remission, was able to come with me. We obviously knew all the details of the location and accommodation, but when it came to go to bed, up a ladder, we expected a room, but instead there was a thin double mattress on a platform of wood, and there was no way we could stand up, so if we needed the loo in the night we had to climb over each other which wasn’t ideal as you can imagine. It was full of flys that drove you crazy, also there were 2 fly traps hanging from the ceiling with dead flies stuck to them. The hot tub was so hot we couldn’t stay in it as you couldn’t relax in it. We decided to sleep on the sofa bed the next night, you could feel the springs and had lumps and bumps everywhere, my back, which I have a degenerative condition, is hurting me so much today. There wasn’t any sun-loungers, only a wooden table and 2 wooden benches so it was luck we’d decided to take our own. We had a lovely time together, it was so peaceful, with the sound of birds singing and the sheep that roamed freely. I hate giving negative feedback but this place needs a few changes.
