Hillside Lodge Cabin is a delightful rural escape, nestled in the heart of the Welsh countryside. With breathtaking views right from your own private hot tub, it's the perfect place to unwind and reconnect with nature—all while enjoying the comforts of stylish, modern living.
Located on an ever-popular family-friendly site, this charming cabin offers fantastic outdoor space. The large decking area includes comfortable outdoor seating for alfresco dining, a crackling fire pit for toasting marshmallows under the stars, and a bubbling private hot tub to soak in the serenity of the hills. There's also an on-site play area, ideal for keeping children entertained for hours.
Inside, the open-plan living and kitchen area is both stylish and practical, featuring sleek light grey units with copper-finish hardware, a statement tile-effect splashback, and under-cabinet LED lighting. Whether you're preparing a quick breakfast or a family dinner, the well-equipped kitchen has you covered with an integrated microwave, under-counter fridge with freezer box, two-burner gas hob, and a full-size sink with drainer.
The living area is home to a spacious L-shaped sofa, perfect for lounging with your favourite TV series after a day of adventure. This sofa can also convert into an extra-wide sleeping space for up to six guests in total (additional fee applies).
To the rear of the cabin, the free standing dining table comfortably seats six and transforms by night into a clever wall-mounted double bed. Just above is a mezzanine sleeping area, accessed by ladder, which can be set up as either a double or twin beds to suit your group.
The generous wash room includes a large shower enclosure, a heated towel radiator, a modern vanity unit with sink, dual flush WC, shaver socket, and extractor fan—everything you need to refresh before your next outing.
Hillside Lodge Cabin is ideally situated for those looking to explore the local area or simply relax in a peaceful setting. The nearby market town of Rhayader offers cosy cafés, local shops, and friendly pubs. Just a short drive away, you'll find the spectacular Elan Valley and Gilfach Nature Reserve—both perfect for walking, wildlife spotting, and taking in the fresh Welsh air.
And just to add a little extra magic to your stay, our friendly on-site alpacas are sure to charm guests of all ages. Their curious, gentle nature makes them a favourite with families and couples alike, creating memories that last long after your stay.
