About this property

A beautiful, single-story property boasting a cosy, wood burning stove.

One of three stunning Grade II listed barn conversions, Evenwood Byre has been beautifully and tastefully restored with the original beamed high ceilings and modern full height bi-folding doors.

The single-storey accommodation has circular stone steps leading down to the slightly lower level sitting room area with its cosy wood burning stove. Dual aspect glazed doors fill the room with light and provide far reaching views across the Shropshire hills.

The well-equipped kitchen/dining area is ideal for a welcoming meal after a day exploring, and the separate utility with washer/dryer and additional fridge/freezer provides extra food storage and keeps holiday laundry out of sight and mind. The principle bedroom has a king-size leather sleigh bed, while bedroom two offers twin single beds which can be joined to make a super-king size bed if required, ideal for couples and families alike. The family bathroom benefits from a bath and separate walk-in shower.

Outside, enjoy the magnificent, uninterrupted rural views from the terrace and garden.

When you want to explore, Shrewsbury, a vibrant market town with a mediaeval castle and Tudor streets, provides plenty of eating out options for all tastes and budgets along with independent shops and the River Severn where you can enjoy a river cruise. There are an abundance of other gastronomic delights in the nearby picturesque villages of Church Stretton, Much Wenlock and Cardington.
