It was a pleasure to have such a lovely group of ladies who hopefully felt rested after their tranquil few days.
A large house and gardens full of character and facilities. Our family of 9 loved it and never felt cramped in any way.More information provided than any other stay, both in respect of the house but also of walks and places to visit. Gardens are beautiful as is the location. Weather not good but still enjoyed sitting in the garden and admiring the views.Host was very welcoming and informative.Would recommend house and host to everyone

Thank you for your lovely review. It was a pleasure to have you and your family to stay. It would have been better if the weather had been more kind so you could have enjoyed the garden to it’s full.
Would recommend you to any other host.
This was the perfect property for my family. It’s centrally located and even has an e-bike rental next door!! We rented bikes one day and did a 20 mile loop. Several pubs are close by. The property was well equipped and we were able to have local family members come over for a bbq. Would highly recommend.

It was a pleasure to welcome you and your family to our family home. I hope you enjoyed this delightful quiet part of the Lake District National Park.
Lovely property if somewhat dated fixtures and fittings, but they added a certain character. The single bedroom had no plug sockets - this needs to be rectified. The TV remote didn't work. Lovely host. Amazing garden.

Glad you enjoyed your stay despite the rain. Regarding the TV remote, I’ve replaced the batteries and all is now good and I’ve left replacements in the kitchen drawer. The socket in the single bedroom is to the left of the wardrobe. If you put a suitcase on the folding luggage rack, this may have obscured the socket. I’m always available to sort out any issues during guests stay. Thank you for staying at Lowick House.
