About this property
Cleveland House | Winterton Cottages
With a central village location, yet close to the beach, Cleveland House sleeps up to 10 people and is ideal for both families and large groups looking for a luxury holiday home with a hot tub. With a a choice of living areas, it's perfect for a relaxing holiday or short break away from it all.
The front door to Cleveland House leads into a hallway, with access to a downstairs bedroom to the left, the lounge on the right and through to the kitchen at the rear of the house. The house is very spacious and is perfect for relaxing with family or socialising with friends. Overlooking the front garden, the lounge is a large room with seating for 10 people, and an impressive fireplace with a wood burning stove (a starter pack of logs and kindling is supplied October - March). There is a TV with Freeview, a DVD player and plenty of board games and jigsaws.
Double doors connect the lounge to the conservatory, and can be opened up to make the space larger for entertaining or socialising. The huge oak table seats 10 people comfortably, and is perfect for family meals or special celebrations. We can recommend a caterer on request. There are two easy chairs for relaxing in the conservatory, and the glass doors at the rear and front open onto the garden.
For keen cooks the well equipped kitchen has a range cooker, integrated fridge/freezer and dishwasher. There's a second large fridge and under counter freezer in the adjoining utility room, as well as a washer dryer. The kitchen also has a small table and bench seating – perfect for quick breakfasts or midnight snacks. Next to the utility room is the boot room with access from outside, and space for storing coats and boots. The downstairs bathroom is at the other end of the utility room and has a large shower, washbasin and toilet.
All of the bedrooms at Cleveland House are beautifully furnished with sumptuous fabrics, and they all have comfortable pocket spring mattresses. There are four bedrooms upstairs, three of which have ensuite facilities. The fifth bedroom is downstairs and there is also a downstairs shower room.
Bedroom one is the largest bedroom with a kingsize bed. The ensuite has a bath, washbasin and toilet. Bedroom two also has a kingsize bed, and an ensuite with a large shower, washbasin and toilet. Bedroom three and bedroom four have twin single beds which can be 'zip and linked' together to convert them to superking doubles if required. Bedroom four has a small ensuite with a washbasin and toilet, and bedroom three is the only one without ensuite facilities. Downstairs, bedroom five has a kingsize bed and TV.
There is a travel cot (bedding not provided), high chair and two stairgates for the little ones.
Outside, the large front garden is completely enclosed and safe for both children and pets. There is a hot tub in the garden for sole use of guests (no pets or children under 5 are allowed in the hot tub). Garden furniture is provided and there is a gas barbecue. Three to four dogs are welcome. At the front of the house there is off-road parking for up to four cars, with additional free parking nearby in the village.
