Amazing, relaxing and throughly enjoyable.

The village was lovely, very quiet and peaceful. We also particularly liked the reataurant, Barn 1. Location of the village was great.

A lovely family stay

The hot tub was great, it had everything we needed for out 2 year old in terms of baby equipment (cot, stairgate, bath) A little children play park on the grounds would have been great

Fun times in tranquil part of Norfolk

The lodge itself is very clean and well designed. It was cosy and comfortable. The kitchen was well-appointed and everything was quite conveniently arranged. Starting with things the host can control and moving to things it cannot The upstairs shower leaked down into the hallway - so we did not use it more than once. We weren't told who to contact for this sort of thing? The heating, while pleasantly cosy at first, became incredibly hot towards the end of our stay - the controls didn't nothing and we had to with all the windows open in mid October! The jacuzzi was nice, but again, hard to control and became tepid after a short time and we could not get it to heat up. The front door lock was hard to open at first - it takes a knack to open it. There were mosquitos in the bedroom (in October!) The layout of the lodges is a little strange with our neighbours facing us on the verandah, 15 metres away, as we got into the hot tub. Perhaps some screening could be considered between the lodges? The holiday park itself is quite confusing, with different things being run by different entities, as it shares the site with the golf course and new apartments are being made by another company - the pool is only open from 9am-4pm. I a pack could be provided to get the maximum out of the site - and maybe some privilege passes thrown in to use the facilities at a cheaper rate?

Loved 3 night stay

Lovely lodge, very warm inside. Great Hot Tub. Nice and comfey. Did find that the door lock was hard to open and lock again. Very strange ways had to be used. The TV was very limited with what was available to watch. Most channels would just display that a subscription was required.

Lovely Stay before the Bank Holiday

Had a chance to play the Golf course too which was really nice. Was in good condition considering how dry it has been. Very friendly in the proshop and in the barn where the food is excellent. They kindly let me do the back 9 on Sunday morning before a hearty roast! Many Thanks

We loved the peaceful setting and the considered driving of the vast majority of drivers around the site. Access was good to all areas of the norfolk & suffok coast.

Quiet location with everything you need for a UK break

Really great setup, very child friendly. A nice location to explore Norwich and the surrounding area Leave more towels, slightly frustrating we didn't have enough for one each including our child.

Fabulous place to stay, everything that we needed was provided. Lovely and peaceful and near to everything. Lovely touch of a bottle of Prosecco and hot drinks including milk. Only thing that needs improving is the 2 single bed mattresses that were really uncomfortable so a couple of us ended up with a bad back. If these are replaced couldn’t be any better

Hot tub was great and very warm. Restaurant on site is also excellent and very friendly. In all a good trip if a little uncomfortable at night. Only one slight negative, the beds are not comfortable.

Great chalet, lovely and warm in a chilly December.

Great chalet, lovely and warm in a chilly December. Kitchen has everything you need. The bar and restaurant were open in site, which was great. Very peaceful and sitting in the hot tub in the snow was amazing! One small thing - take your own towels if you like them nice and big!

A little gem

The whole property was spotless and had everything we needed. We went in November and it was lovely and warm. The hot tub was brilliant. My partner was particularly impressed that the hair dryer had a diffuser. Lovely surroundings and the pool/spa on site was a 30 second walk away. The towels were a little small, we had to go out and buy our own. Also, the frying pans had seen better days. Again, we went out and bought a new one for ourselves.

Great spot for a bank holiday weekend.

All kitchen items and utensils spot on. Comfy beds. Easy check in. Hot tub was great. Comfy lounge area upstairs though apart from the Saturday we were sitting out on the lovely terrace. The club house by the golf course does fantastic food and had a great carvery there on the Sunday. Very friendly. Nice pool though needs to be bigger and open a little longer. Even at opening time with only a few in made for a crowded swim. Beckles is a lovely trip and recommend the pub on the way just before the lights at the bridge. Great spot right by the river food looked great. Hope to return for another break. Many Thanks

Area of lodge Peacefulness Golf The front door does not free shut so had to use the rear entrance or leave the front door wide open or locked. No tin opener , sink upstairs plug was jammed but is ok now as we fixed it and also toilet seat needed fixing. Would benefit from tv down stairs.

4/10 Poor

Disappointing and Dirty

Nice location, good golf course and friendly staff The house was not very clean, hob was especially dirty and the ensuite bathroom was disgusting. If we had been in a hotel we&#39d have asked to change rooms. The master bedroom : only had 1 opening window as the other one was broken, mattress did not fit the bed frame and there was no wardrobeanywhere to hang any clothes. We had to hang stuff on a washing line, no TV in the master but there was a TV in the second room but with single beds we dis nor want to sleep in there
