Our hosts were more than gracious and welcoming. Any question answered immediately. The house was beautiful and perfect for all of us to have our own space for privacy and plenty of common space. The outdoor space was excellent as well. Great location to get to everything we wanted. Highly recommend
This house easily accommodated our group of 10 (4 adults and 6 teens) with easy access to a beautiful lake for walks and bike rides and quick access by car to Reykjavik which was about 15-20 minutes to the downtown area.
We had a really nice week long stay at this property. With 4 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 children over 10, we had more than enough room for all us. House is located within 3 minutes of a grocery store, which was extremely convenient. Neighborhood felt safe. Kids were venturing out to the nearby park and even found some friends to play soccer with in the evening.
House was clean and the owners were awesome to deal with, accommodating and responsive.
Responsive hosts and great property. Plenty of parking in front of the house and spacious living area for guests. Location was close to Costco, IKEA and other grocery stores.

Fantastic location about 20 min out of Reykavik
Hrannar and Dora´s house is at a beautiful location in the suburbs. I would always recommend having a car to get to the malls etc. There is a grocery store in a 5 min walking distance but as for other kinds of stores you have to drive or take bus to town or the kopavogur mall Smaralind.
At the house you feel as if you are not in a town, it is by a beautiful lake and with view over the lake and some mountains. Horses are riding along the road by the house, which is kind of nice to see, there are horse stable houses. very close by so people on horses are a frequent sight, as there are a lot of paths for horses and hikers here.
As for the house it self, it is not something fancy, kitchen needs a upgrade, but it is pretty big and has everything one needs, bit dining table, could have some more chairs though.
The biggest pro is the location, you feel as if you are one with nature.
