Very welcoming hosts and comfortable cottage. Lovely garden and peaceful surroundings. I cannot think of anything else to enhance the experience already enjoyed by ourselves and by the way the cakes and sausage rolls were scrumptious beyond words!!

We were looking for somewhere to have a few days of peace and quiet and the Cottage Barn provided all we could have wished for. Richard and Wendy were excellent hosts and rightly proud of the accommodation. There was a homely feel to the beamed 400 year old building, it blended the beams into the stylish decor. It was very well equipped with all the comforts required for a worry free break. It was clean, warm and the bed was very comfortable. There was access to a magnificent garden, orchard and meadow. We had a couple of day’s visiting the Suffolk and Norfolk area and a couple of days in the cottage. We can thoroughly recommend the Cottage Barn and as people always say “ We will return†we surely will.

We’ve just returned from a stay at The Cottage Barn.
We’ve just returned from a stay at The Cottage Barn. Just right for us as we were visiting family near by.10/10 for everything from us, the hosts Richard and Wendy were friendly and welcoming, gave us a tour of the cottage and made sure we were happy with everything. The cakes were very welcome. The cottage was very clean, comfortable and well equipped, a perfect base to return to each day. We had a patio for relaxing with a coffee or glass of wine in the tranquil surroundings, looking out over the hosts lovely garden which they have created and we were also able to enjoy. A peaceful habitat for the wildlife they encourage. Also, a very useful folder full of lots of local info. regarding places to eat, walks etc.We certainly hope to return. Thank you.

Just returned from a lovely week away in Suffolk.
Just returned from a lovely week away in Suffolk. Richard and Wendy our hosts were extremely friendly and informative. We were given the grand tour of the property which is situated in a lovely quiet area with ample parking and beautifully presented. The cottage is well equipped, clean , comfortable and has everything you need for a week away from home. There are lovely south facing gardens created by the owners which make the view outside the patio windows very enjoyable.Located for easy access to Diss , Felixstowe, and Many other chocolate box villages and Towns in the area. We were lucky to have had the hot sunny weather on our side which was icing on the cake.
