Comfortable, cool and spacious, calm and stress free. Excellent information, very helpful and responsive, good local shops and decent basic restaurant nearby - and one exceptional example, Carèm. The local wine festival was great!
The house was very spacious. It was very clean. It had a lovely private garden/ orchard and although the pool was not big it was good for cooling off. There was a cafe next door and a bakery next door to that. There is a supermarket about 3mins in the car away and there are a few local restaurants. We only ate at one, Il Sogno.. Not a huge menu but a very good meal. Communication with the host was good. Good outside seating, could maybe do with more comfortable seating inside. A very pleasant stay.
Roomy, elegant apartment ideal as a base for exploring. Martina was available at all times via WhatsApp and helpful, although it would have been useful to have some recommendations of places to visit in advance or at the property. Local shops and a good supermarket in walking distance.A few issues need addressing (I would normally send these privately, but Vrbo seems to have removed that option):Payment was direct - when Vrbo warns against doing so! Then they needed a deposit of 400 euros either cash or bank transfer - which was paid back by bank transfer. I have never been asked to do this before - if a deposit is required most providers would use a credit card - for a UK visitor, having to change money twice just for a deposit is galling. The property is in need of some attention: the outside table had no shade for daytime, and no lighting for the evening - and had uncomfortable banqueting chairs! Parking was behind heavy metal doors, which had no way of propping open - scary when it was windy & driving a hire car. Self catering was difficult as there is no work surface or storage other than the (large) fridge freezer. All the saucepans were very large, as if catering for a crowd, and yet there was just one small stovetop coffee maker, loads of small cups - and one mug! A tray, a kettle/small saucepan and some normal sized teaspoons needed.Air-conditioning: the unit serving the bedroom faced the corridor, so we never got the room cool (however, it was a very hot week).

Dear Karen,
Thank you for your feedback. We are glad you enjoyed the comfort of the apartment, its location, and the support provided during your stay.
The property is carefully maintained and constantly improved based on guest feedback, including yours, which helps us identify suggestions to further enhance the experience. The security deposit, as indicated in the listing and as in your case, is always fully refunded at the end of the stay if no damages occur, and it can also be paid by card to avoid any currency exchange.
The apartment offers spacious rooms, convenient access to shops and services, and all essential amenities. The outdoor table can be moved as desired, and pots of various sizes are available. For any needs, our team is always ready to provide guidance and support.
We look forward to welcoming you again!
The villa was amazing inside, with beautiful vaulted ceilings and lighting that gave the feeling of a museum more than a villa. Everything we needed was at hand in the kitchen: All utensils and crockery, a 4 burner hob housed in a cappa in muratura (masonry hood), a built in oven, fridge freezer, kettle, toaster and 2 aluminium hob espresso makers. Be careful as the arch on the hood is low at the sides and I bumped my head a couple of times and I’m only 5’ 10”. A comfortable sofa bed and dining table in the living area, again with lighting highlighting the ceilings and walls. The bedroom and bathroom were well fitted out, with a washing machine tucked away in the bathroom. Outside was a deceivingly large garden full of fruit trees, a couple of sun loungers and a small plunge pool, that we never got to use due to the cooler weather in mid October. From the garden steps and a ramp lead to the patio area outside the back door (which is pretty spectacular). Two modern plastic outside chairs with a matching 2 seater chair and an outside dining table. The six days we were there were very relaxing and a great opportunity to unwind as a couple. Next door is a Cafe/Bar which gets busy and can be loud at times, usually from around 6pm, but it didn’t really bother us much and was quiet by 9pm. There is some traffic noise in a morning from around 6:30am as people start their working day but didn’t bother us much. A large supermarket and several restaurants are within a short distance.
