“Cold Smoke” is what locals call the uniquely dry and light quality of Big Sky powder. Whether you’re looking for snow or sun we want you and your family/friends to feel at home in our mountain home.

Cold Smoke Mountain Lodge is a beautiful retreat in the heart of Big Sky. Located just a 5 min walk to Town Center, 15 min free shuttle to Big Sky Mountain Resort, and an hour from Yellowstone National Park, the Cold Smoke Mountain Lodge is the perfect location for your next Montana adventure. Relax in our hot-tub overlooking the Spanish Peaks or put your feet-up on the front porch after enjoying the abundance of activities in Montana’s Big Sky Country. 8 comfy beds and linens that sleep 10, open living room/kitchen/dining area with gas fireplace and table that seats 8, kitchen bar seats 4, large open activity/TV room in basement, and radiant floor heating throughout.

- Bunk-room (4) with two sets of adult twin bunks (See Rental Agreement - guests agree to hold owners harmless for any damage, loss, or injuries arising from the use of the bunk beds)

- Well-equipped open kitchen with electric range/oven, dishwasher, disposal, toaster oven, microwave, and stocked with basic non perishables

Lovely home nestled in a quiet neighborhood. Well appointed, nicely updated and very comfortable with amazing access to cross country skiing, snowmobiling, downhill skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating, sledding. Wonderful home, great location for family

We stayed for two weeks in the summer and had a wonderful time! The location is in “town,” not on the mountain, which was great. There is a small park 3 blocks away, easy to walk to town, access local hikes. The layout of the house is very family friendly. We have 4 young kids and the basement provided plenty of play room. The fenced in backyard provided great outdoor space too. We absolutely loved Big Sky, and this house made our stay easy, comfortable and unforgettable. We would highly recommend staying here!

Great location for a large group

This house was perfect for our Big Sky ski trip. Conveniently located within walking distance to Big Sky Town Center and the many dining and shopping options available there. If you're headed to the mountain for a day of skiing it's just a short drive up the road. Even at opening and closing times the road there was never overly busy like you see at entrances to the CO and Utah resorts. The house itself had plenty of room for our large group and the in floor heating, hot tub, and steam shower all assured that we never got chilled even as temps outside hovered around zero degrees. I would definitely recommend this house for your next Big Sky vacation.

Caitlyn grew-up in the Midwest and Philip on the East coast, but they have always been drawn to the mountains. Their first date was on a ski-slope and we have been lucky to travel the world hiking and skiing in beautiful places, but none are as special as Big Sky!

Limber Pine Place is one of the only streets in Big Sky that's all year-round local Big Sky families, that's why we fell in love with this home. We love both winter and summer seasons in Big Sky because Montana never ceases to amaze you!

Cold Smoke Mountain Lodge is in the heart of the Meadow in Big Sky. We are a close walk to restaurants, shopping, hiking, and Big Sky Town Center. We are also a short drive to Big Sky Resort, and about an hour from Yellowstone National Park.
