Overall an excellent stay at Homefield! The property was beautiful and I would definitely stay here again. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the garden and deck are stunning. One hick-up during our stay, however, was a non-functioning toilet in one bathroom that could not flush. I contacted Fresh Escapes through Vrbo about the issue upon our arrival (which thankfully wasn't an emergency given there were other bathrooms) but only received what appeared to be auto-replies through the Vrbo app. Since it wasn't an emergency, and we were busy, I didn't try to reach them again, and perhaps they would have been more responsive through their own site (Fresh Escapes). I also used the Vrbo messaging when we checked out to mention the broken toilet again (as well as a bulb that had gone out in one of the bedrooms so they knew to fix these issues before the next guests) but only received a message to review them in return. Again, perhaps communication would have been better via the Fresh Escapes site but since I booked via Vrbo I used that messaging service. On the whole, a great stay in a clean and well-furnished home, and I would happily book Homefield again.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful property.

Location was perfect, looking out towards Dartmouth. House was a great size for 6 of us, with large outside terrace. Quite steep steps from roadside gate to pathway, difficult for anyone with mobility issues.

Beautiful house, easy to self cater, ideal for large familiesgroups. Plenty of space for 8-10 people to spend time together and still have time apart. Location is superb, beautiful views and positioned ideally for the sun from afternoon to late evening. Nice and quiet with birdsong if you like that and yet just 5 mins from lovely welcoming pubs and bars.

Stunning. A well equipped, modern place in a fantastic location.

Location was perfect, right by a river looking towards Dartmouth we saw some wonderful sunsets and the lights of Dartmouth made for a great evening backdrop. Fully equipped for all requirements, everything you would need. A superbly decorated and modern house with plenty of room for all to relax in comfort Nothing
