Thanks for viewing our listing; one of many properties professionally managed by JonBie Maisons on Daufuskie Island.

First thing to note when planning a trip to Daufuskie Island is there is NO Bridge. To reach Daufuskie Island you must book a ferry, water taxi or come by your own boat. Once on the island you’ll need grounds transport from your arrival dock to your JonBie Maisons vacation home. JonBie Maisons has options listed for both ferry/water taxi and transport providers and will be happy to make recommendations based on your travel arrangements.

The cottage guests have access to Beach Club amenities: pool, fitness center, pickleball courts, etc.

This premium cottage has it all. Situated on the ocean-front row of Daufuskie’s beautiful Avenue of Oaks, JonBie Maison Cottage guests will look to the Atlantic Ocean beach from the screened-in front porch. The cottage has a wonderful location, and cottage guests will be just steps away from the pristine Melrose Beach

The interior of the cottage is open and spacious living/dining/kitchen area that is great for family and friend time. The cottage includes roku enabled flat screen TVs in the living room and both bedrooms. WIFI is Free during your stay. The kitchen is fully equipped with service for 8 or more with full size stainless steel appliances, garbage disposal, dishwasher, and a stocked Coffee/Tea Bar, making meal preparation easy for you and your family throughout your stay - even Holidays! Meals can be enjoyed in the dining area or screened porch.

A laundry room with full size washer and dryer is also available to make island life more convenient and comfortable; and there is a high chair and pack & play for your infant and toddler needs.

A golf cart is also included with your booking and additional golf carts are available at discounted rate. Information for reserving additional carts will be provided at booking GAS CARTS ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED AT ALL JONBIE COTTAGES & VILLAS and Carts are NOT to be used for hauling luggage, coolers, groceries, etc.

June & July reservations require minimum 7 day stay.

Absolutely amazing!

This was the perfect vacation spot for my birthday weekend getaway! Great communication leading up to the trip and even day of check-in, super clean cottage in the BEST location. We were right on the beach and it was beautiful. The pool was a 2 min walk and it was amazing. We will definitely be back asap.

A wonderful family trip!

This was out first time visit Daufuskie Island and it was everything described. Beautiful, peaceful and a great experience! Our beach house was perfect and had everything we needed. We hope to be back, next year!

Great getaway

We were not really sure what to expect in our first trip to the island. Our hosts were very helpful with all of their knowledge to help us get acclimated- there wasn’t a single thing they suggested that wasn’t great. The property was amazing and just what my wife and I needed to recharge. If you need to get away and truly relax- this is the place for you…

Serene relaxation

Off season at the beach is spectacular and visiting Daufuskie Island is always like a visit with dear friends. Good things are happening in beautiful Melrose Resort and the future looks very bright. The JonBie Cottage always delivers - every need is met. Five star comfort and five star experience.

Relaxation

My family and I loved the cottage and our week on DI. What is not to love about being able to wake up, walk to the beach and start paddle boarding and fishing. The cottage has everything you need, and we loved the extras like the popsicles stocked in the freezer for our kids. The beds were so comfortable, and we really enjoyed the screened in porch in the evenings. Truly so relaxing for people who enjoy getting away from the hustle and bustle of life.

Relaxing Spring Break

Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay at JonBie! It was exactly what we were looking for- peaceful, comfortable and relaxing. The home feels spacious and was very well-stocked. The paddle board, boogie board, beach toys, fire pit, grill, dog bed/crate, bikes and golf carts were great amenities we enjoyed. Our favorite part was the direct view out to the water. It was so nice to walk out the back door and be on the beach in a few steps. This was our first time to Daufuskie and we will definitely be back, and would absolutely recommend staying at JonBie!

Quiet Beach House / Neighborhood

We had a great visit and truly enjoyed the quiet neighborhood of Melrose. The 2 bedrooms were laid out perfectly for the four of us. All the amenities we needed were available. We were impressed with how little sound could be heard between the adjacent bathrooms. The beachfront location was perfect for watching the waves while drinking morning coffee, or taking frequent walks on the beach. Kurt and Tammy were very helpful and we would highly recommend them and any of their homes in their portfolio.

A beautiful oceanfront getaway

Modern updates and beautiful views in this quiet community! Enjoy the sounds of the water and the views of deer and birds, or escape to the comfy interior with lots of space for "only" a two-bedroom duplex. A well-appointed kitchen and game cabinets keep you occupied on rainy days. The JonBie management team kept us well-informed and helped with many of the logistics reminders that are unique to Dafuskie. We'll definitely look for JonBie properties when we return next time!

Beautiful retreat! Perfect for families with small children!

I am torn about telling people how perfect this cottage was, because I want to be able to book it whenever I want! ;) The hosts have literally thought of everything! We traveled with a three year old and a one year old. The house was perfect and everything we needed for them (beds, high chair) was provided. That really made a huge difference for us. We could not have enjoyed our stay more and can’t wait to return!

Wonderful home!

We stayed 12 nights and could have stayed longer! The island certainty isn't for everyone- there are mosquitos and limited options for dining/ shopping/ activities- but all of that was fine for us. The house was well stocked with towels, games, beach needs etc. Beds were comfortable, furniture was in good condition, and the AC worked LOL. The location was perfect in that it is close to the beach and easy access to the pool area. I recommend clarifying the cost of the pool if you stay multiple days. The first day we stopped by (not ready to swim) we were told it would be $250 for 10 days of pool access for our family, the next day a different person was working and we paid $150 for 9 days of swimming. All in all highly recommend!

JonBie Masion is Perfect

JonBie Masion is Perfect location when staying on Daufuskie. Right on the beach so you can see beautiful mornings, days and nights. You can even watch the pelicans coming across from the sound to the sand bar for the day. We even saw a dolphin or two.. Bring your binoculars, there so much to see from JonBie's back porch, its like an extended living room. There was a bit of rain but , you could watch the storm move across the sky, was so beautiful from JonBie's back porch, we loved it. We loved every minute. We had the most fun riding the golf cart around the island discovering so many beautiful island places. 7 days was not enough. The house was so comfy and simply perfect. Everything needed for cooking breakfast lunch and dinner for 4. Bring stuff to grill out. Grilling out back by the beach is another must do while at JonBie. The fridge has an ice and water maker, which is a must have a the beach. Beds are comfy and tubs are huge. Lots of games provided, and we enjoyed those too in the evenings.. You will not be disappointed. This was our first Daufuskie trip and we will be back. We will book again when we come back to Daufuskie..No bridge no boat, no problem. Just get to JonBie with your clothes and food and everything will be perfect. Hint..pack you stuff in suit cases and plastic bins..makes carrying all your stuff easier. It was quiet and serene. Everyone on the island whether visitor or local were so nice and helpful. We have never stayed where you walk off your screened in porch, under the loblolly pines, cross a patch of grass and come out on the beach. It was great for our dog and easy on us. Loved it!

We LOVED our stay here! We brought our two mini-poodles and they had a blast sitting in the screened porch area. The house was wonderful, close to the beach and exactly advertised. We can’t wait to come back next year!

Beautiful and peaceful!

Such an amazing location!!! The back porch and back yard were so peaceful as you can see and hear the ocean from both! Tammy was very responsive with communication and our family had a fabulous time! The house was lovely and very comfortable as well as beautifully decorated! We loved the board games in the evening. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!
