Instead of dealing with a large resort with thousands of guest you will have your own private home with a private parking area, private pool with large patio, outdoor shower, hammock area, seating and tables for outdoor entertaining, fenced in yard, and all the amenities of home including washer and dryer! There’s a grill by the pool in case you want to cook some burgers, steaks, or locally caught seafood.

Great spot to enjoy vacay!

Beautiful beach house in such an ideal location! Owners are very quick at responding to any questions and the accommodations make so much sense whether traveling with adults or families with kids, everyone’s bound to have a great time!

Family summer vacation

The house is at a great location. A short walk gets you to the beach in no time. The house was one of the cleanest houses we have stayed at in Hilton Head over the past 15 years. The outdoor shower was nice to have and everyone enjoyed the pool. Would love to stay here again!

Absolutely wonderful stay!

The property was exactly what we needed to have our family together for the holidays. It had everything we could have needed and was just steps to the beach. We had no complaints. Previous reviews had mentioned low shower pressure in the back bedroom, there was plenty of shower pressure and to top it off, with a crew, the water was always super hot!! Every single one of us would absolutely stay here again!!! Thank you for making our holidays so memorable.

Quick trip

My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend. Booked last minute, but very much enjoyed the house. It was a short walk to the beach and we thoroughly enjoyed the personal pool. House was close to lots of dining options too. Might have to book this house again and bring our kids and grandkids since there is plenty of room!

Great Location

The house is perfectly placed for easy access to a less crowded portion of Hilton Head's beaches. The home's pool is shaded from the sun. The kitchen is well supplied with dishes and cooking utensils. We enjoyed our stay.

Great family beach house

Perfect family beach house. The location is about the best you can get on HHI for the money. The property owner has plenty of beach toys, chairs, and yard games to use which was fantastic. The pool was great after a long day at the beach. A++.

The house couldn’t have been located at a better location. It was a great stay for our 3 family group. The beach was just a short walk away like listed and the pool was a nice size for the kids. The only down side was the bedrooms got a little stuffy at night. Overall great experience.

Fabulous Location and Adorable Home

I had a wonderful time at this property! It’s huge and adorable. Decorating is very tasteful. Beautiful beach steps away. Dogs loved it! Only recommendation I would have e is to have some cleaning products available. I was there for Four nights and didn’t have anything to clean up with. Thanks for a great time!

HHI Revisited

After several visits to the island in our past, we decided to revisit after a long hiatus. First time on South Forest (usually stay North), but enjoyed the less crowded beach. Had a nice stay. Loved the proximity to the beach and the house decor is cute. The house met our needs but the bathroom shower/bath could use some updating/repairs. Katie was a lovely host and quick to reply. Nice home for a family trip especially if dogs are coming along. Thanks for sharing your home.

Great location for this cute beach cottage

We had never been to Hilton Head and went with family to celebrate New Years. This is house is in a great location. A minute walk yo the beach. Restaurants 5-10 minute drive away. Sea Pines which is a great neighborhood to explore with restaurants and boat cruises etc just down the street! When booking this house I didn’t realize that the four bedrooms were in the back of the house and three bedrooms were clustered together making one of the bedrooms a hallway to get through to the rest of the house. The house was well equipped and had a great beach cottage feel! Yard is great — pool smaller than it looked to me on line and house sits on a corner lit so you hear the cars go by.

5 Star Location

Although this property can boast a 5 star location (some traffic noise) it certainly does not compare to other 5 star properties. The space worked well although we had to go through the children’s bedroom to get to two of the main bedrooms. This house is not suited for 12 guests although there are bunk beds everywhere; the main bathroom is very small & dated as is the master. A two slice toaster that set off the fire alarm most times and a small eating area best suited for 8 guests at best. The kitchen was well equipped (many dishes chipped), beds were comfortable yet towels need to be refreshed. Upon arrival we replaced the shower curtain liner, removed the rusted rod & plastic on the tub window, washed windows, swept around doors at the front and side, tidied the yard removing dead planter urns, planted flowers in the window boxes and cabinets under the kitchen and bathroom sinks were nasty as was the shower in the master bathroom. We were there for three weeks and did not hear from the property mangers except in response to our concern about the bathtub which was not draining when they replied that “it had a mind of its own” - so out we went again to the shop to get some Draino. The pool worked well for our 6 & 8 year old but should really be described as a plunge pool. Of course it’s HHI and we enjoyed every moment we had together with our family and friends.

Great home, minutes from the beach.

We had a great time, nice home minutes from the beach. Short drive or bike ride to Coligny. The pool was very refreshing after a long day at the beach. Great fenced in area for dogs to roam. Enough room for everyone to be comfortable and eat together. There were chairs supplied and some beach accessories. Great outdoor shower and towels were supplied. Beds were comfy, we would definitely stay here again. Communication with hosts was great.

Great Location Very Responsive Home Owners

Nice clean home exceptionally close to the beach. The pool in the front yard was such a nice amenity. We had one small issue that the owner responded to promptly. The highlight had to be how well the kitchen was stocked with two separate functional refrigerators/freezers. It limited our need to shop for groceries every other day since we eat most of our meals in the rental home when we vacation with family. Do not hesitate in case the VRBO description looks like it’s too good to be true. It’s so comfortable and had absolutely everything we needed. It’s also very well stocked with beach goodies. We overpacked this time but can’t wait to come back soon.
