Mark and Estella house is amazing. The view, the layout, the equipment, the decor were even better in person than the listing. Gaucin is one of Andalucia most beautiful villages. The area is stunning and we filled every days with hiking and visiting other villages and towns. We couldn't be happier.

Absolutely magnificent villa, pool & views, perfect location within walking distance of well-stocked shops, cafes, bars & restaurants, local walks pathway guide (from tourist centre) very accurate & helpful. peaceful. Warning - roads in village perfectly negotiable with patience but not for boy-racers!

What a fantastic property. The views were absolutely stunning. We had a few stormy days during the month of our stay so watching the weather go by, turned into a bit of an event.

Amazing!

Fantastic

Our experience was fantastic. The villa was beautiful, clean and very confortable. Mark is really nice, we spoke with him directly during our stay. I would definitly come back to this villa. Fantastic is exactly the word to describ our experience.

A wonderful week

We had the most glorious week at Villa Estrella. It is a perfect space, spotlessly clean and so well appointed. The outside space was beautiful and the view simply breathtaking. Thank you Mark and Star, we would love to return.

Amazing apartment with amazing view

Just great..amazing place. Great views. Nice village. 12 hiking trails from the house. I recommend this place for 200 percent. Nice host. Very good communication.in conclusion...fantastic.

Magnificent villa. Magnificent Host.

My family of 10 stayed in Villa Estrella for 6 days. Our host was extraordinarily helpful. Besides excellent directions to the villa, he provided detailed information about local markets, restaurants, hikes, and particulars about the villa, all of it very helpful. He was immediately available before and during our stay.The villa is perfect. The photos do not do it justice as fabulous as they are! It sits at the far end of Gaucin, a charming white village, located within driving distance of Ronda as well as the beach towns on the cost.The streets of the village are narrow and hilly. Rent as small a car as you can. You do not need to drive within Gaucin except to leave, everything of interest is walkable.The streets re narrow, hillt, and winding. There is sufficient parking at the villa.

Writing this review comes with mixed feelings — not because anything was wrong, quite the opposite. Places like this feel like hidden gems you almost want to keep secret. The more people discover them, the harder it becomes to return. This villa truly lives up to its name Estrella (“star”) — it was the star of our trip from the very first moment. As soon as we arrived, we realized this is one of those rare places where reality exceeds the photos.The villa offers generous space, impeccable cleanliness, and a design that beautifully blends modern style with subtle Moorish accents. Everything feels carefully thought out — from the spacious living area to the fully equipped kitchen with two of everything (sinks, fridges, dishwashers, ovens, cooktops), making it perfect for larger groups without ever feeling crowded.All bedrooms have stunning views, private bathrooms, and everything needed for a comfortable stay.The outdoor area is just as impressive — breathtaking views of the mountains and valley, a beautiful pool, a heated jacuzzi for cooler evenings, a BBQ area, and plenty of space to relax.Mark is an exceptional host — communication was smooth and helpful from the start. His recommendations, detailed instructions, and quick support during our stay made everything effortless.Just as you cannot ignore the stars in the night sky, we cannot imagine not coming back.Thank you, Mark — see you again!

We had an absolutely incredible stay at Villa Estrella and couldn't recommend it highly enough.We stayed for a week as a group of 9. We were originally meant to be 11, and even then the villa would have been more than spacious enough. The first thing that struck us was just how stunning it is. The views are absolutely breathtaking and the photos genuinely don't do them justice, it's even more beautiful in person.The villa itself is exceptionally well equipped, easily the best we've ever stayed in. It's been so thoughtfully designed and has everything you could possibly need. The outdoor spaces are fantastic, with beautiful seating areas around the pool where we spent most of our time enjoying the amazing weather.Mark and Star were outstanding hosts from start to finish. Marks communication, hospitality, and responsiveness were faultless, making everything so easy and stress-free throughout our stay.Everything about our holiday was perfect, and Villa Estrella exceeded all of our expectations.
