The house is also an excellent starting point for beautiful hiking trails through the region and is located in the border triangle of Austria - Italy - Slovenia. The holiday home is ideal for 2 families or a larger group and offers 2 cozy living rooms with seating area, a dining room with dining table, 2 well-equipped kitchens, 5 spacious bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a ski storage room, laundry room with washing machine and a garden. You can park directly at the holiday home. Kötschach-Mauthen is located at the upper end of the Carinthian Gailtal, embedded in breathtaking mountain formations, belongs to the Nassfeld - Pressegger See tourist region and offers a small family ski area with 6 kilometers of slopes as well as restaurants, shops, all hiking and cycling tours, the Hike World with 25 themed trails and a large swimming pool (Aquarena water and wellness oasis). Other ski areas in the region are the Nassfeld ski area with 110 kilometers of slopes, the Zettersfeld ski area at the foot of the Schleinitz in the Lienz Dolomites in East Tyrol with 21 kilometers of slopes or the Golzentipp family ski area in Obertilliach in the East Tyrolean Hochpustertal with 12 kilometers of slopes. In summer, the Waldbad Mauthen natural swimming pool or the Pressegger See east of Hermagor offer plenty of bathing fun!
