Ocean Beach Casita located 1/2 block to the Santa Cruz Ave. beach cove and the main beach is walking distance. The Casita is a private detached back home with air conditioning, sleeps 5 guests comfortably, a full kitchen that includes a washer/dryer, an enclosed private yard /deck. And YES! Private Parking too. The OB Casita is a Great Place to Rest, Take a Shower and Chill after a fun filled day in San Diego. The Living Room and Master Bedroom have Smart TV's with apps you can log into like YouTube TV, Netflix, Hulu. Towels are provided including Beach Towels.
OB Casita is located a few blocks to Newport Avenue where there are great Restaurants, Beer Brewers, Coffee Shops, Antiques, Artisan shops and more. Don't miss Wednesday OB Market Day on Newport Ave. It is the best farmers market in San Diego with local organic produce, artisans, music, food and more. We are minutes to Sea World and 20 minutes to all the main San Diego attractions: Gas lamp District, San Diego Zoo, Old Town, Balboa Park and San Diego International Airport. 2 hrs. to Disneyland and 1hr. to Legoland.

We had a wonderful stay and couldn’t have asked for a better beach getaway. The property was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything we needed to relax and enjoy our vacation. The location was fantastic since it’s just a short walk to the beach, making it easy to catch beautiful sunrises and spend plenty of time by the ocean.The host was friendly, responsive, and made the entire experience seamless from check-in to check-out. We truly felt at home and appreciated all the thoughtful touches throughout our stay. We enjoyed our stay loved the location, the tide pools and how comfortable the bed was. The casita was a bit small and the driveway was a pretty tight fit which was stressful but other than that we would definitely recommend!

This Casita was perfect for our time in San Diego! It was larger than I expected and perfect for mw my daughter and grandson! It would comfortably fit a couple with two kiddos! It was walking distance to everything. Was a little bummed the pier was closed and has been for over a year and expected to be for several more year but we still enjoyed every minute!

Great get away!

The property at Ocean Beach was clean, well stocked with all that we needed and the host was very responsive and helpful. The location was perfect for enjoying much of the sights and activities that San Diego offers. We enjoyed being able to walk to Ocean Beach and restaurants nearby. The neighborhood was quiet and safe and the casita was the perfect set up and size for our family of 3!

Matias and I met in Chicago and were raising our family. He always said he wanted to come back to live in San Diego. He had attended SDSU and lived in Ocean Beach in the late 60's early 70's. I thought I'd give it a try and we've lived in San Diego for 14 years.

Why they chose this property

We first purchased this house as an investment property knowing that one day when our nest emptied we'd move into it ourselves. We love it in Ocean Beach and know you will too.

What makes this property unique

Everything you need is walking distance. The Beach, Restaurants, Coffee Shops, Convenient Stores and more. Ocean Beach is a unique community where the 60's nostalgia keeps on living. It is a very laid back, open-minded, colorful community. The Casita has a parking space for your use which you will appreciate especially if you're staying during the summer and festival dates.
