We had a very enjoyable stay. The house was spotless and very well equipped. Sarah was a very considerate host and answered any queries quickly and was helpful and accommodating. I would recommend anyone to stay here. Definitely a 5 star property and host.

Gothic Cottage

Lovely property mixing old and new features. Spacious and lots of areas to hang out in as well as having a large, well stocked communal kitchen/diner. Bedrooms were plentiful and each had their own bathroom. All on the same level so great for slightly less mobile family members. Friendly host who welcomed us when we checked in and showed us around and made sure we were enjoying our stay.

This property is a gem!It was everything we expected and more! The house is charming and quirky and so comfortable. Plenty of lounging space for all the guests. A bathroom attached to each double bedroom. The most beautiful garden with a big table directly in front of the double patio windows. The hostess, Sarah was very communicative and helpful, she made us feel very much at home in her, obviously, well loved home. Thank you for letting our family stay!The surrounding area is very charming…lovely walks, beautiful beaches (Southwold especially!) and lovely pubs. We hope to return one day!

The property is in a lovely quiet spot with an open field beyond the garden to the rear and the nearest houses being a good distance away. The kitchen, dining, lounge extension is a lovely space - we barely used the other lounge in the older part of the property. The annex has 2 ensuite double bedrooms with a small kitchenette between them. There is load of space - technically it is a 6 double bedroom property with 4 bathrooms, if both available sofa beds are used as double beds. The play/party barn is now laid out for adults or older children to use. The garden is a nice space and the patio is a suntrap. We very much enjoyed out stay - thanks you Sarah.

Gothic House has the feel of a much loved home. We were 3 families coming together and the house had space for us all indoors plus a wonderful garden. The house is well equipped and had everything we needed to make holiday life easy. There is a thoughtful blend of modern and old running through the building itself and the contents. My 6 year old grandson asked about a sitting room ' Is this a royal room?' He had picked up on the gracious feel of the interior decor and furnishings. We all felt very privileged to be able to stay in such a lovely house in such a lovely setting.
