Fabulous, flexible & sleeps 12, near Suffolk Coast

A pair of beautifully converted former farm buildings, tucked away amidst wonderful countryside beside the Suffolk Cycling Route. Entirely on paths, you can cycle directly from the cottage to the coast at Thorpeness or Aldeburgh (or walk 45mins).

A stay at East & West Barn Cottages, at Billeaford, is the way to have both a Suffolk coastal holiday along with the benefits of a very private country location. They're very well equipped, with lots of outside space plus private garden, and even use of the owners well maintained tennis court! Adults and families of all ages will thoroughly enjoy their stay. One of the king sized bedrooms & shower room is downstairs. Two fully equipped kitchens but East Barn's living area is open plan and large enough for all guests to spend time together
Each cottage has 3 bedrooms, comprising 2 doubles and 1 twin.
The cottages are adjacent to the timber barns of the former farm, but are attached to each other

Family weekend in Sussex

We had a great time at these lovely houses. Very comfortable, amazing tennis court set in a meadow and only few minutes to the beach! The only improvement could be more comfortable outdoor furniture for lounging, otherwise everything we needed and more.

Suffolk family getaway

Excellent facilities. Enough room in one of barns to accommodate whole family during mealtimes ,extra chairs and extension to table a welcome surprise. Is possible to walk to local shops and pub.

Great experience

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the East and West Barns which are in a beautiful setting, conveniently located for enjoying the delights of the Suffolk coastline and surrounding area. There were some minor things that needed sorting in the first day or so and these were attended to quickly without fuss or issue by the owners. We hope to do return in the next year.

Wonderful family holiday

Everything went according plan. Our party comprised of grandparents, parents, children aged 5 - 13 and a 5 month puppy. The huge lawn at the front of the properties was ideal for the children to play The cottages were lovely, well furnished, comfortable and well-equipped

My Friends and I (9 of us in all) stayed in both East and West Barns , fantastic accommodation. Very well equipped and in a lovely position for visiting the area. No complaints at all - we had a great time

Beautiful Barns

When you walk into a place and you feel relaxed straight away that's how East Barn made us feel. Our friends stayed in West Barn too. The Barns are just beautiful, all finished to a very high standard, I especially loved how lovely all the bedrooms were. So much storage and pretty finishing touches. Accommodation is luxurious, clean, warm and stylish. Can't recommend highly enough. Thank you Mark for your help too when booking as its all a bit tricky with Covid. Don't think you could find a nicer place to stay in Suffolk!! 12 out of 10!!!

A wonderful week exploring Suffolk

We rented both cottages and the flexibility of the accommodation worked so well with 4 small children between us. They are extremely clean and tidy with comfy beds. The kitchens are really well equipped. The lawn to the front was perfect for picnics and bikes (and enjoying a glass of fizz in the sun!). We also made use of the tennis court which was a great addition I had noticed on booking. The cottages are surrounded by beautiful villages which we loved exploring, especially Aldeburgh. We didn’t want to leave and hope to return soon.

We all got together and occupied both cottages and they fit they fitted the bill perfectly. Storm Dennis tried its best to cause havoc but failed miserably we were warm and snug

Spacious and comfortable cottages in easy reach of Aldeburgh, Snape and Southwold.

We were a large family party of 12 and the combined space was excellent. We could all sit around the extending table comfortably and both barns were very well appointed. The owners were friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed the outdoor space and tennis court. There are lovely walks and bike rides from the back door The dogs were very happy too. We would certainly return here as there is plenty to do in the local area.

We had a great time walking, eating and the odd beer! We used both East and West cottage which were extremely comfortable. We were a group of 8 and found the dining to be spacious and the kitchen well equipped for our ‘chefs’.

Perfect accommodation for a family weekend away! 5*

We stayed in both barns over a weekend in June and the accommodation matched the weather, fantastic! The barns were equipped with everything imaginable and the welcome basket was a lovely touch. The children really enjoyed the outside space, with the tennis court being a big hit. Jan introduced herself and made us feel very welcome. A couple of things that would of been beneficial was a parasol in the garden area and maybe some children’s crockery but neither spoilt our stay in any way and we would definitely come back. Thanks again, Helen, Isaac and The Goodman Gang. x

Beautiful Suffolk idyll

Two fantastic barn houses that can be rented together. Enough space for three families to go on holiday. Clean, comfortable and good facilities - the tennis court was an added bonus! Would definitely rent this place again. Beautiful countryside and great walks in the area.
