A lovely cottage and a safe garden for our dog.

A lovely cottage and a safe garden for our dog. We had a relaxing stay and the beach nearby is great with beautiful sunsets, and a bonus of a cafe on the sea front. Limited off lead dog walks from the cottage, but the coastal walk is ok if you don't mind walking your dog on a lead. The Minors Arms, a two minute walk from the cottage, is dog friendly, but does not serve food.

Great holiday cottage.

Great holiday cottage. Ideal for a mixed family or friends group, with 3 loos and 2 showers, large bedrooms and 2 sitting rooms there is more than enough space for everyone. The cottage is really well appointed, very comfortable and cosy, a real home from home. Just a wander to the beach and a short drive to the nearest shops in Millom. We will definitely come back.

We really enjoyed our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. Such a nice cottage.Very clean and no pet smells or hair ie dogs.Nice touch with the welcome biscuits and chocolates. Our only negative comment was the broadband was very slow which the younger adults got frustrated with. We would recommend this cottage to our friends and family.

A very comfortable cottage with character.

A very comfortable cottage with character. The rooms are large and well furnished and the kitchen is very well equipped. The garden and decked areas lovely. The welcome pack was very much appreciated and the house was warm and inviting on arrival. We have knocked of a star because the showers, although excellent, struggled with water pressure if both were in use at the same time, or if a toilet was flushed, tap used while one was running.

The house is absolutely stunning.

The house is absolutely stunning. Very well looked after and incredibly comfortable. We all loved it, and loads of space to spread out! There isn’t a lot locally in terms of grocery shopping so it’s good to be prepared! But we are used to city living where everything is on hand. We really did love the house though, was always a joy to return to after a busy day.
