Stunning property in an ideal location. The reality is better than the pictures amazing penthouse with views across Florence it’s site seeing from the comfort of the dining table! . The apartment has everything you need and the air con was such a relief in the 34 degree heat! The hosts were perfect too many thanks

I had the best time in Florence staying in Alessandro’s apartment. It is in a quiet area that is only a 20 minute walk to the centre. The apartment is very well equipped and is very nicely decorated. The only thing I found difficult was the shower - it is very small and it would help to have somewhere to put your bottles etc - I found that I had to open the door in order to reach down for them - If you were a larger person you would struggle with the size of it. That being said I found a way around it and I would definitely recommend the apartment to anyone staying in Florence❤️

The apartment was everything we hoped it would be. We were particularly taken with the beautiful balcony, scented with lemon blossom and catching the morning sun, as we wanted somewhere peaceful to sit with a glass of wine in the evenings and this was perfect (even if the weather limited our use). The apartment is huge and well equipped, the bed in the main bedroom extremely comfortable (the only one we used). It was very easy to get into the centre of Flornce on foot (and return by bus when we were all walked out) and we loved the local area too, shopping in the Sant’Ambrogio market and eating in several extremely good local restaurants. Alessandro was an excellent host, communicating clearly before and during our stay, and we would love to return next time we come back to Florence.

My husband and I have just left after a 1-week stay. It is equal in appointment and cleanliness to a 4-star hotel, with well-organized and appointed kitchen (which looks new). Extra pillows, towels, bed linens, soft throws for the couch. Beautiful views and sounds from the terrace, accessible from the common area as well as the main bedroom. Very quiet. Yesterday afternoon we watched maybe 5,000 birds swarm into a tall cypress in a courtyard off the terrace, leave and swarm around the Duomo and Palazzo Vecchio and return again. This morning we watched hot air balloons rise and sail over the city. The second bedroom is small with two twin beds placed together that could be made into a king. My husband and I often have different sleep patterns so it served us well, as did having two bathrooms. All beds are VERY comfortable, as are the pillows. Yes, there are 72 stairs, but they are wide and even and didn’t really pose a problem for us at 70 years of age — although we did plan our jaunts carefully. BE SURE TO DOWNLOAD WHATSAPP BEFORE LEAVING HOME. Our host Rosy will provide anything extra you might need — hard to think what that might be — and very much prefers Whatsapp. You will need it to provide ID photos. Book it and enjoy your stay.
