The apartment is located on the second floor without a lift in a historic building, characterized by wide stone stairs.

The entrance door overlooks the large living room, with a dining area and small terrace on the left side. On the same side there is a fully equipped kitchen with Florentine tiles, dishwasher, oven and microwave. On the right side of the hall a door leads to the TV room, with a sofa that can be prepared as single bed on request, adding an extra bedroom to the two already in the apartment. Walking in the hallway on the right is the first bathroom with a large shower and on the left is a storage room with the washing machine. Further on to the right there is the master bedroom with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, while on the left there is the second double bedroom.

The terrace offers a further option to the beautiful table in the living room-dining room for the sunny days. The bedrooms are very quiet and spacious, with internal views over the Florentine terracotta roofs.

Ideal for families or couples of friends, the apartment is suitable for both short and longer stays.

Fantastic place to stay in Florence. Located very close to the Duomo and city center, just a short walk. There was a nice patio that looked out over a courtyard, which is great for dinner if the weather is nice! Clean, spacious, and comfortable. The owner was very kind and accommodating. I made a mistake when booking and he was very understanding and helpful. Plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. The only downside was that there is no elevator to bring up luggage, but it was a small inconvenience for such a great stay! I will definitely book again if I return to Florence.

The host was very responsive and the location was great. However, while we provided our host with real time tracking of our location and they agreed to meet us at the garage to help with our bags, their agent arrived 40 minutes late.Also, although their description stated that there was no lift and the apartment was on the 2nd floor, Americans should realize that European 2nd floors are our 3rd floor.The description further stated that there is a bathtub in the master bedroom. That's technically true, but you can't use it as a bathtub, because there is a sign (placed in a position where you can't see it until you get into the tub and probably turned the bath water on) indicating that it leaks and it should only be used as a shower. Even if you could use it, it's awkwardly placed and dangerous to get in and out of.Neither bathroom had toilet paper holders.In the TV room, there's an overstuffed closet of someone's personal items that's unlocked. The apartment could use refreshing, the furniture is a worn, the dishes chipped, too few glasses and mugs.Also, while it's not their fault, the hallway into the building has the smell of sewer waste.Last point, while the VRBO description, said no hidden fees, a few days before arriving, HouseFlo sent us a message, and later a contract, that stated that we would be responsible for the utilities during our stay. They never tried to enforce this, but it would have been less alarming if they hadn't referenced this.

This was in a very convenient spot in Florence. It was close to a grocery store, restaurants, bars, coffee, pharmacy, and shopping. The train station was in walking distance.The apartment was very clean, had lots of utensils, cookware, etc. The air conditioning worked very well and kept us all very comfortable. The washing machine worked very nice and it also had drying racks for your clothes. The gas stove was especially nice for cooking a meal. There were a couple cons to the apartment- walking through the corridor to get to the apartment frequently had a strong stench of sewer. We also had to carry our luggage up many flights of stairs as there was no elevator to use. I will still give it a 4.8 rating. The staff was very easy to communicate with and we had an amazing time.

Great location!

Great location with walking distance to the Duomo, David, Iffizi, Central Market and Ponte Vecchio Bridge. Rooms were clean and ready when we arrived. Comfortable beds too!
