Bilderbuch-Idylle in perfekter Lage

Wir haben die letzte Woche und den perfekten Abschluss unserer Elternzeitreise mit unserem 8 Monate alten Baby im Backyard Village bei Oskar und Emma in Hveragerði verbracht. Die beiden sind wahnsinnig nett und immer erreichbar, die Unterkunft ist sehr gemütlich und sauber und wir hatten auch für unser Baby alles, was wir brauchten. Perfekt ist zudem die Lage. Man kann von dort aus allerhand unternehmen, ohne ewig weit fahren zu müssen: Wir waren in Reykjavik, auf den Westmänner-Inseln, in Thingvellir, bei den Geysiren und am Gulfoss, aber auch im örtlichen Geothermalpark und wenn wir noch Kraft und Zeit übrig gehabt hätten, wären wir sicher auch noch zum Reykjadalur gewandert, um im warmen Fluss zu baden. Man kann hier aber natürlich auch hervorragend zuhause bleiben und die Seele baumeln lassen, ein Buch lesen, den Hühnern beim Huhnsein zugucken und ab und an in den Hot Tub springen. Am letzten Tag hat uns Oskar dabei geholfen, die Sauna anzufeuern. Wir würden definitiv wiederkommen, absolute Empfehlung!
