We had an amazing stay at Helga’s Cozy Cottage! The cottage is very cute, inviting and comfortable for 3 adults. Helga is very responsive in communication and the instructions and videos are really helpful. The area around the cottage has hiking, hot springs, great pizza/brew pub and was near many sites we took in during the day. Five stars Helga!Thank you for your hospitality!

The cottage was quaint and delightful to stay in. Very cozy! Close to geothermal park and restaurants. Host was super friendly and communicative. I highly recommend this cute place for a small family or small group of friends to stay.

Great location and very nice place to stay for a couple. It is small and well prepared. The shower is tiny but the water is hot with great pressure. Bed is smaller for two people with a comfortable mattress. Host was kind and made check in very easy. Would recommend for two people visiting Iceland. Town is perfect with shops and great restaurants.

Relaxing cabin

We only had a couple days in Iceland, and this cabin was the perfect place to get some rest from jet lag and then explore the coast. Conveniently located, host was excellent, and Hveragerdi was very enjoyable (great pizza, nice local bar, kind locals). Would definitely book again!

Family trip to Iceland and beyond

Stayed in Iceland for 3 days on way to UK from Canada. This town was a surprise and delight! Location walkable to services. Very cute cabin.

Lovely cottage

Beautiful space and well laid out for a family. Great location if you’re looking for hiking and Hot Springs also close enough to Reykjavik for day trips- and all the amazing sites on the golden circle. Fabulous host!

Oasis in Island

The property was just like the pictures except it was even better. It was cozy, quaint and beautifully decorated inside and out. It is perfectly located for hiking, walking and exploring. So glad we found this oasis on our adventure to Iceland!

Loved This Cozy Little Cottage

This is a very cute and cozy wood cottage in a fun town. The Owner was very good about communicating with us. The cottage was clean and very well stocked. Very close to Highway 1. You will enjoy your stay here!

Good place to stay

We basically arose early, usually stopping at Amari Bakari every morning. Most nights we didn’t get back till 9:30-11:00 P.M., good place to launch from, especially things close to Reykjavik and the Golden Circle. A lot of driving to places like Hofn and the Glacier experiences . Over all a good stay for us, a little small for us, but worked fine!!

Perfectly situated for Golden Circle travel

The house is located on the property of another house, which I couldn't tell from the photos but it's explained in the host video. I stayed for two nights and enjoyed how close everything was as far as groceries, gas, a delicious local bakery, a few restaurants, several popular hot spring areas, and of course, the Golden Circle route. The host was very communicative and flexible, which I am always grateful for. I would certainly stay here again.

Cottage was in a nice location and clean. Kitchenette was adequate. Was a little too small for our family of 4 with two teens, but would likely be fine for fewer people or younger kids. Easy check-in and orientation video from host. Parking available at residence.

This cozy cottage was exactly like the description. Helga was an amazing host and we loved the little treat that was left for us. There was no issue when it came to communication and we would booked this again and again.

A lovely spacious property.

This was a lovely property with easy access to the Golden Circle and the South Coast. Very good communication with management. They had a small hot loaf of bread in the apartment upon check in. It was just my son and I but was large enough for a small group. It lived up to the photos posted.
