We loved this apartment! It is a beautiful, spacious two-bedroom apartment, with a large dining area and kitchen, two bathrooms, and a lovely, comfortable living room with high ceilings. It has a washing machine and dishwasher. The hosts were very thoughtful with instructions and provided all the necessities like laundry soap and even coffee pods. The upstairs loft area is adorable. It looks over the living room, but what was nice was the bedroom area has a door and is private and comfortable with its own AC unit, and private bathroom. The best part of the apartment, however, is its location. You are mere feet from a very cute little town square with benches to sit on and people watch; a very nice restaurant; a lovely cafe where we had coffee and pastries every morning; a gelato place; and a cute little sandwich place where I had the most delicious sandwich of my life. You're also a very short walk to the Ponte Vecchio, and within easy walking distance of tons of other must-see spots in Florence. You're also a block from a little market for snacks and two short blocks from a pharmacy for any necessities you may have forgotten. The neighborhood itself is full of character, and I loved just walking around.Be aware the apartment is on the third floor and there is no elevator. This was absolutely fine for me and my sister, but hard for my elderly mother. However if you are relatively active, the stairs will not be an issue at all, and staying here will be so worth it.
