The house has many good points but overall it all felt a bit cheap and tacky, and like the host was cost cutting at every opportunity.
For example, the shower gels offered were all little tiny bits left behind by other guests. Some instant coffee was left. It was a tiny amount, just enough for the 6 adults to have one cup of coffee. Just all a bit mean.
The house was very hot and there were no fans. Although we shut the curtains they were so flimsy the sun and heat still got through them. The ironing board was useless since if you ironed near the nose of the board it tipped up. Just cheap and not suitable.
The shower in the main bathroom was very dissatisfactory. It kept going boiling hot or freezing cold even if nobody else was using the water, the water pressure was very, and the knob to move between overhead and hand shower kept falling off.
Having said this the house was very clean, except the walls had numerous marks and it could do with a repaint as it all looked very tired.
Be aware there is no downstairs toilet. The house is in a nice area and it's very convenient for the excellent tram service.
