A fantastic holiday cottage in a great location
The cottage was excellent: beautifully decorated, well equipped and very quiet. It was in a great location too, very convenient for exploring the nearby towns of Knaresborough and Harrogate.
Lovely cosy little place with everything we needed for our stay, feels very secluded but only a short drive to everything you need. We enjoyed the short walk along the river to Spofforth. Perfect stay for couples

Good combination of peaceful retreat and well positioned accommodation
We stayed with our two dogs and we all loved the accommodation. It was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed and we all loved tje secret garden where the dogs were able to run free.
The Smithy was a lovely cosy place to stay in a beautiful location. Being able to take our well-behaved dog was key in our decision making when booking. Check in was super simple and information at the property was really useful. We had everything we needed and really enjoyed the freshly ground coffee.
