Thank you for your review. We have had many guests in the past able to use the wifi in the downstairs apartment without any issues. We would also disagree with the word basement as there are patio doors leading to the pool terrace and courtyard. The maintenance man has looked into the strong smell coming from drains and confirm this has been resolved. If you contacted us during your stay about this we could resolved these issues.
