We booked last minute but we really fell lucky. This place was perfect for our family and dog; very well laid out to maximise the sea views and thoughtful touches throughout. Location was brilliant to walk into Penzance town or travel on to other areas around Cornwall.

Fantastic place. Probably the best equiped holiday cottage we have ever stayed at! Location is close to the town and close to the beach front. There is parking on the road but limited and so you might have to drive around a bit to find a spot.Views from thw balcony lovely. I would totally recomend this place and would definately go back.
Beautiful views, very clean and had everyrhing needed fit a great stay. The parking was dufficult. Did not expect so many steps as i was injured and found them hard to navigate.
Lovely view of Mounts Bay! House has all the necessary items for a well-provisioned stay. The host is very responsive and kindly provided a welcomed cream tea upon arrival.Only one drawback that we found: the en-suite loo in the bedroom smells due to what we assume is a holding tank for the macerating toilet. We loved the eco-friendly aspect of it, but the constant smell in that bathroom was a bit off-putting. Maybe it was due to excessive dampness that week, or it is just a fact that can’t be avoided.Overall, a great place to stay.

Could of been cleaner
Lovely property no doubt cannot criticise location but … bird poo all over balcony when we arrived and I mean weeks old so no intention to clean for new arrivals which was extremely dissatisfying as the photos provided promoted this view and spot - doors in property are extremely loud latches don’t work properly or locks so if with other family’s or friends trips throughout the home will be noisy Lastly parking isn’t explained properly the very steep hill the home is located is a nightmare to access and meant we had to park upto 2 km away and walk back to but on lucky days able to park about 1km or closer - if you have children or older family this is not a safe choice at all due to the physically steep incline Lovely house house unfortunately situated in a location and environment for younger ages

Thank you for your review.
Very disappointed with the comments. The balcony is jet washed on a regular basis. On this occasion only two days before. Its the seaside and seaguls reside in the neighbourhood unfortunately. 'Loud latches'. I can't really respond to that as unclear what is meant. There are perfectly working locks on the bathroom door and the fire door to the garage closes itself 'loudly' potentially because its a fire door. We're often asked about parking and we respond that there's no designated parking available but it's free to park in the road adjacent to the property and we always find a space nearby whenever we stay. This has been the case for the 15years we've owned Bayview and made it available to stay. Again so disappointed with the comments as every single review we've had across multiple platforms have been 5*. Damn those seagulls.
