About this property

"SEAWARDS" PERFECT SEASIDE HOLIDAY HOME FOR 4/6 IN PERRANUTHNOE, CORNWALL

"Seawards" is in a spectacular coastal location up a quiet private lane on the edge of the small unspoilt village of Perranuthnoe and very close to Perranuthnoe Beach, West Cornwall . It is 2 miles east from the well known seaside holiday destination of Marazion. "Seawards" has outstanding south westerly coastal views over Mounts Bay and beyond towards Marazion, Mousehole, Newlyn and Penzance all in West Cornwall . From the property it is a four minute, virtually traffic free, walk to the safe, sandy beach of Perran Sands and five minutes walk to the centre of the village with it's excellent pub, cafes and galleries.

Please note: FRIDAY TO FRIDAY RENTAL PERIOD : In the busy summer months we let the property from Friday to Friday, the rental charge being for 7 NIGHTS.

Seawards offers well equipped, contemporary, light and airy accommodation for up to 8 people.

The main bungalow has 2 bedrooms , 1 bath/shower room and 1 ensuite shower room and offers spacious accommodation for 4 people.

If accommodation is required for more than 4 people , the annexe offering another 4 beds ( 1 king and 1 set of bunk beds) and a shower room, can be made available, at an additional per person, per night cost.

The living accommodation located at the front of the bungalow consists of a large light well equipped kitchen/dining room with views towards the sea and a large separate sitting room with comfy sofas, chairs, TV/DVD and wood burning stove. The kitchen and the sitting room have panoramic coastal views with sliding doors opening directly onto the decking with garden furniture and BBQ for outdoor dining.

The 2 bedrooms in the bungalow are located at the rear of the property as follows:
Bedroom 1: super king bed OR 2 singles, with ensuite shower room
Bedroom 2: king size bed with bath/shower room opposite.

The annexe is located 6 metres across a paved courtyard which leads off the side door of the kitchen/dining room.

Bedroom 3 (annexe): king size bed and bunk beds with ensuite shower room (available at an extra, per person cost, if more than 4 people)

The annexe is generally only available when there are more than 4 people staying. However, should you wish to use it for any reason with only 4 people staying please ask. In this instance there would be an extra charge applied.

OUTSIDE:

Between the bungalow and the annexe there is a secluded, sheltered courtyard with outdoor furniture. A delightful sun trap, just right for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
The wooden decking at the front of the bungalow also has outdoor furniture and is the perfect place to enjoy the lovely views by day or watch the sun go down in the evening.

There is parking for 3 cars opposite the front of the property with a small lawn area adjacent.

Perran Lane , which leads to "Seawards" is a small lane/track servicing only a handful of the other properties, with only occasional car. It is therefore extremely quiet so all you will have to disturb you is the sound of the waves or the call of the birds.

The Cornwall and South West Coastal paths (in both easterly and westerly directions) are within one minute's walk enabling you to explore this magnificent area of natural beauty with ease.

"Seawards" therefore offers an excellent base from which to enjoy the perfect Cornish seaside holiday with all that West Cornwall has to offer close at hand.

Host profile image
Fiona, David and various offspring live and work in Bath in the South West England. However, we have had long association with West Cornwall having spent many happy family holidays there over the last 30 years. We recently sold a property in nearby Marazion and have now been lucky enough to buy "Seawards" in Perranuthnoe, or "Perran" as it is known locally. We look forward to spending many more happy family holidays with children and grandchildren in this Cornish seaside paradise.

Why they chose this property

"Seawards" is the perfect location for a seaside
holiday and holds many happy memories for us of endless hours spent on Perran Beach and other local beaches over the last 30 years.

What makes this property unique

Where to start ? There are so many unique benefits:
The perfect sandy beach with golden sand and gentle waves on a hot summer's day; the invigorating cliff walks along centuries old paths, through beautiful untouched coastal landscapes; Summer BBQ's on the beach or on the decking whilst admiring the red gold sunsets as the sun dips behind the hills of West Penwith; watching the spectacular winter storms with waves lashing the granite cliffs from the comfort of the sofa, warmed by the wood burning stove; wandering back up the quiet lane to Seawards after the best dinner in the local pub with the full moon lighting our way, as it reflects off the calm sea.
There are so many unique benefits; please stay and you will discover these and many more for yourself.........
