Very peaceful
Lovely little place if your looking for peace and quiet. Didn't use the hot tub, couldn't keep a fire going, but a lovely setting.

Peaceful
Had a lovely weekend break here, what a fantastic location. This place is excellent and so peaceful, kids loved it and so did we. We will definitely come back.
Great little place. Loved the location and the quiet. The cottage is as described and well presented. Useful supplies and tools for the fire and hot tub. Very comfortable all in all. The oven wasn't the best but good enough. There is some noise from the pump when flushing toilets or when the dishwasher or washing machine is on, but not too bad. Good location on the island with lots of activities and amenities within easy reach by car. Good country walks. The wildlife was a bit quiet around the cottage for some reason, but the cows came over to say hi and we spotted a pheasant and a falcon perched on a fence post.

Great base for exploring Angelsey
We really enjoyed our stay at Murmur Y Coed. The surrounding area is beautiful and the location makes it an ideal base for exploring Anglesey. You feel like you're in the middle of nowhere but in reality you're 10 minutes from Menai which is a perfect mix. As we were there during the heatwave we didn't get much use out of the hot tub but it was a great option to have (doubles as a cold plunge when the weather gets too hot!).
As a few reviews have mentioned, the cottage is a little tired and would benefit from a few paint touch ups and a deep clean although the main areas were spotless. We also found the kitchen a little understocked for cooking although it does have all the basics. We really liked the use of refillable kitchen and bathroom products as a good sustainability touch.
Overall it's a really lovely place to stay and we would definitely return.

Fun Family Break
Il start by saying we go to Angelsey every year and Murmur Y Coed is my kids new favourite place to stay. The place is small and cosy but does have everything you need for a great holiday. We had a great time there and certainly enjoyed the hot tub. The kids also liked the isolation as no one could hear them (they are pretty loud!)
The only things I will point out (I’m not saying they are negative but worth noting):
1) the showers are pretty weak and only 1 of the 2 was powerful enough to shower in
2) the WiFi isn’t very fast so you struggle to stream anything on the TV
These didn’t particularly bother us as we still had 1 shower and just played games rather than watched the TV.
For the price we payed for a week in the Easter holidays it was an absolute bargain.
Il also say Oyster Holiday Cottages are extremely responsive to any issues you may have during your stay.

Beautiful place
My son and I stayed two nights here.
The place is gorgeous - quiet and brilliant for a restful holiday. The decoration is lovely and I loved the colours used!
It was our first visit to Anglesey - all of the places we wanted to see were not far away. Our Sunday lunch at Catch 22, Valley was excellent.
Just one thing was tricky when we arrived - we couldn’t find the key safe. After a phone call, we found it on the storage unit by the gate as one arrives at the driveway to the cottage.
Overall, we had a great weekend and I would stay again.
