Great property with lots of areas to chill out. We loved the pool and outdoor living area. Short drive to the town but supermarket and a couple of small restaurants within walking distance. A real location to relax.

Hi Claire - many thank for your kind review. We are so glad that you and your family had a lively time at our villa in Fayence. All the best. Dom
Check in process was slightly problematic as VRBO, did not automatically provide the details, this was quickly sorted after contacting Dominic, the host. The property was well equipped and tastefully furnished. The undoubted gem, was the pool, which was large and also deep, whilst ideally located with regards to the position of the sun everyday. The outside kitchen and dining area provided a cool shaded area to escape the sun, and was an excellent place to have food and drink.

Hi Wayne - many thanks for your kind review. We are so glad that you had a wonderful time in our villa in Fayence and would love to have you as guests again in the future. All the best Dom
Such a great place to stay if you want to be out of the main cities and have a peaceful surrounding. You definitely need a car if you are staying here.Place was fantastic (rustic rather than modern) but with everything you need. The outdoor kitchen area and pool were definitely the best parts. Beds were really comfy (kids didn’t want to get up most days). One word of caution are the ants, they get everywhere so we couldn’t leave any food out anywhere, had to store everything in the fridge or wrap up tightly. But it is an older rustic style farmhouse so not much you can do about that. All in all a brilliant family place to stay, spent so much time outside on the sunbeds, kitchen area and especially the pool.

Come back again!

home away from home
wonderful traditional villa with fantastic in door and out door entertainment and dining space.
i regularly stay here for a relaxing break after the madness of cannes film festival and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a home away from home vibe with the addition of hot sun, a fabulous pool and gorgeous surrounding countryside for walks or bike rides.
That's not to say its all peace and quiet, the surrounding villages have a plethora of music festivals and activities, there is a fantastic farmers market with to die for rotisserie and a great choice of places to dine out. There also a supermarket, bar and tabac a short stroll away.
you are well looked after by the couple next door who oversee the villa should you need any assistance otherwise you have complete privacy and the owners Lyndy and Dom are really great to deal with - very hands on in ensuring you have everything you need for your stay.
The villa is well kept, clean and homely - its also fantastically well stocked with the added bonus of a super comfy lounge with TV for lazy / recovery nights :)
i am a totally lazy fat busting sun worshiper when i come here and it totally rejuvenates me before heading back to the madness of my working world - i fully intend to book again this year and it cant come round quick enough!

Great Retreat and Child Friendly
This is a really cosy, but deceptively large villa, set near a real gem of a hill town that is easily less than an hour's drive from Nice. Easy to find too.
The place itself has a lovely authentic, rustic feel but has all the 'mod cons' - TV, video, internet, - necessary to keep the kids happy at the end of the day. It is a really easy place to relax in.
We spent most of our time by the pool, or playing with the kids in the private garden (which is sizeable, so plenty of opportunity to get some private time too).
A big plus was the brick barbeque area near the pool with a covered dining area and fridge. It meant we could cook and eat out every night. Great for when we had friends round to visit.
We've been back, so recommended.
