This beautiful villa is set in a quiet and peaceful area, offering lovely open views It is located just 6 km west of Albufeira and only 2 km from the Blue Flag beaches of Castelo and Galé just a 5-minute drive

A beautiful villa in a great location

Having spent a week in the villa (July 2010) I can honestly this is a great sized villa presented to a very high standard. Location was also fantastic, being easy access to local shops, nearby towns, beaches and water parks but also set a quiet country side. We've given five stars as we would recommend to anyone and also head back there ourselves.

A spacious villa inside and out. Although I gave the villa acomodation a 5* rating it really needs more comfortable seats. The current seating is very poor.

Great villa in convenient location

Spacious villa that was clean and well equipped. Pool was perfect for 4 children aged 11 to 14 and adults too! Restaurants in walking distance of villa and nice child-friendly beaches less than 10 minute drive away which was great. Recommend having a car if you stay here. Only negative really was the comfort of seating - recommend owners invest in new indoor sofa and some cushions to accompany the outdoor seats! Would stay again if back in the same area of Portugal.

Perfect for our family getaway

The service was exceptional all round. The cleaners/ pool and garden maintenance kept the initial high standard up during the week. The design of the villa allowed us to enjoy the very warm weather with shade at all times during the day. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was really effective and meant we could all sleep comfortably. A slightly more comfortable sofa and updated kitchen would add even more to the fantastic experience. We’d recommend this villa without hesitation - and will probably book again in the future.

zu empfehlen

wir waren für 10 tage in der Unterkunft und es hat uns alles sehr gut gefallen. die Räumlichkeiten sind zwar sehr hellhörig, jedoch ansonsten im top Zustand. Highlight war der schöne pool. Mit dem Auto alles gut und in kurzen Strecken erreichbar.

Lovely villa

Beautiful villa with everything you could need for your stay. Excellent pool and spacious rooms. Although a little dated, it was clean and very well kept. There was 7 of us and more than enough space with extra pull out beds in the kids twin room so could sleep more. Aldi is a 20 min walk away and a few restaurants in the area but otherwise a cab ride into Albufura old town is just 10 mins away (not walking distance). We didn’t have a car so spent on cabs as the villa is quite out of the way. Overall a fantastic place.

Beautiful villa, bit of a walk to get anywhere

The villa was large, clean, comfortable and beautiful. The pool was very cold but clean. We were moved from a villa much closer to the beach, restaurants and a pool bar so we had a long walk to do with small kids to get to anywhere, but the location of the villa can’t be changed. A car is probably necessary for families staying here.

Large Attractive Villa With Excellent Villa and Panoramic Views

Marco Real provides attractive, spacious, excellent, clean and quality 4 bedroom accommodation in a quiet semi-rural quiet setting (with views as far as Armacao de Pera) but still near to restaurants, shops (walk 10-15 mins, car few mins ) and the wonderful Galé beach (walk 35 mins, car under 10 mins). There is a large L shaped swimming pool which, whilst un-heated, is clean and we managed to use most days during our October 21 visit. The well fitted Villa has a large kitchen which is well stocked with equipment, utensils, pans etc the dishwasher looks fairly new and works well. The garden area is large, attractive and felt both private and secure. The is plenty of private parking space. The property is professionally managed by local agents. One of our over-riding memories of this Villa is the spectacular sunsets watched from the panoramic balcony. The seating in the lounge is getting a little tired and not particularly comfortable.

Amazing villa!

The villa was clean and well kept. A great size for our group of 8. The pool was lovely and well kept by the pool man who came twice in the week. The hammocks are a great touch too Highlight was the outdoor BBQ and seating which was perfect for the evenings!

Beautiful!

We have just spent a heavenly ten days at this beautiful villa and would definitely recommend! It is immaculately clean and the pool (although slightly chilly to begin with) is perfect for cooling off from the hot sun. There are 4 supermarkets within easy walking distance once you get your bearings and the beach is about a 30 minute walk. If that’s too far, the local taxi company is very reasonable and very helpful. There are some lovely restaurants about 10 minutes walk from the villa and food and drink are both very reasonable - I would advise booking a table as they get very busy. Management staff could not have been more helpful and directed us to Scooby’s pool and bar when we arrived too early to check-in. This was a great way to start our holiday. We are already talking about booking again for next year!

Relaxing stay in lovely accommodation and a particularly good pool . Staff at the management office were both friendly and helpful and we couldn’t really find fault other than perhaps making the instructions for using the tv a little clearer ! Thanks !!

Great holiday

Family of 8, including 2 young girls Whole experience was superb. Host allowed us to check in earlier than usual due to our early flight. Arrived to office to pick up the Keyes, very informative. Villa was even better than on the web. Welcomed us with some breakfast. During the stay pool was cleaned by a very friendly gentleman, third day in maid service replaced all the towels and cleaned the property. Whole experience was superb and we do would use and recommend to all. Decent size with all facilities. Dropping keyes was straight forward, due to again an early flight we have dropped keyes in the office key box, office is located 2 min drive from the property. Great connection from the airport, only 35 min drive. Close to the beach and town, about 5 min drive. Down the road lady selling fresh oranges and apricots. Fantastic holiday, everyone loved it. Thank you will definitely visit again.

The villa was very clean and tidy, we had an evening flight so arrived at the villa late and There were a few essentials ready for us ie milk, bread, butter and beer. Our party consisted of 7 adults and one child and there was more than enough room. We were remote enough for peace and quiet but only a 10minute walk from a small strip with lovely restaurants, a couple of bars and supermarkets/shops. Would definitely recommend Villa Marco Real to anyone!!

Mycket fint hus i lugnt område, gott om plats och rent.

Super fint hus, allt var perfekt, rent och snyggt. Vi hade 2 fantastiska veckor, man bor bra mycket fint i ett område som är lantligt men inte långt ifrån affärer och restauranger. Bil elller mc är att rekommendera. Det enda negativa var att wi-fi som det sägs ska finnas inte alls funkande och när det gjorde det var det under all kritik. Vi kommer att återkomma till Marco Real.

Fantastic Villa

We had a fantastic stay at this Villa near Gale. Keys collection and drop off were great and very easy. The Villa had plenty of space and was great to stay in with 6 adults and 1 child. The only down side was the safe did not work and the TV did not have many British channels therefore could not watch Wimbledon. I would have rated this property 5 stars if these 2 things were fixed. We would definitely book to stay at this Villa again as we like this area as it is only 10 minutes(by car) to The shops and busy Albuferia.

Absolutely Stunning!

This was my first time to Portugal and I have to say it didn't disappoint. Marco Real Villa was amazing. So much space and the decor was beautiful. This certainly won't be the last visit to the Villa. Situated perfectly for lots of activities including water parks, zoos and little hidden beaches. With Albuferia only a few KM up the road there's lots of shops and supermarkets but the Villa is right out of the way of the main road so it's so peaceful when you're relaxing by the pool. Loved every minute of it. Only wish we'd have stayed an extra week

Beautiful Villa in quiet location

An ideal villa for our party of six adults. Very spacious inside and lots of outdoor space. Pool is small but adequate. Bedrooms and bathrooms are a good size and clean. There are sheets, towels, and pool towels provided. No soap, so bring your own for every bathroom. The only negative is the kitchen which really needs updating and a good thorough clean. Appliances are fairly old and the toaster doesn't work. The dishwasher had an unpleasant odour when we opened the door so we did not use it. There is no washing up liquid or spray cleaner provided. If you are staying only a few days, you have to buy whole bottles of everything just to keep the kitchen clean.
