Beautiful location. Lovely house, very cost and nicely appointed. Would be nice if check out was 11AM as it’s hard to be relaxed while making breakfast, tidying up and checking out.

We had a wonderful long weekend at Halfway House. It was ideal situated just outside Ambleside but with easy access to activities, shops and restaurants. The house was old but beautifully renovated and kept. The comfort of the beds stood out!! The bathrooms were lovely and apart from fairly low pressured showers were great. We enjoyed the garden and outside areas between the showers!
