The paved courtyard at the back provides access to a convenient outdoor shower, a barbecue and a wood-burning oven with enough space to organise pleasant outdoor barbecues. It is ideal for eating meals and enjoying the tranquillity of the countryside while losing yourself in the green surroundings.
All around the house, to complete the picture, runs the green outdoor garden with fruit trees, olive trees and aromatic plants.
You can organise lunches and dinners outdoors because we offer a wide variety of spaces and environments, such as a relaxation area with deckchairs, a possible play area for children, and a barbecue area to organise barbecues with friends and family in an area, that of Lake Baratz, the only natural lake in Sardinia, where you can organise trips of all kinds surrounded by nature with adults and children.

The villa is 18 kilometres away from the centre of Alghero, in a quiet country area in the hamlet of Villassunta, between Porto Ferro, Santa Maria la Palma and Lake Baratz.
The area is served by supermarkets, pizzerias, fish restaurants and the most renowned agritourisms in the area, as well as bars and retailers of fruit and vegetables and typical local products.
Casa Katia is just over a kilometre from the sea at ‘Porto Ferro’, a beach with golden sand, which stretches for about two kilometres and is dominated by three Spanish watchtowers dating back to the 17th century.

A few kilometres further along the coast are the most famous beaches of the Coral Riviera such as ‘Porticciolo’, ‘Cala Dragunara’, ‘Mugoni’, the ‘Stalla’, ‘Lazzaretto’ and ‘Le Bombarde’ .
And for those who, in addition to the crystal-clear sea, do not want to miss out on further breathtaking views, there is the possibility of visiting the characteristic Grotte di Nettuno (Neptune's Caves) a few kilometres away, the enchanting panorama of the Parco Naturale di Porto Conte (Porto Conte Natural Park) and savouring the pleasure of walking along nature trails in the shade of the pine forests at the state-owned forest of Prigionette and Punta Giglio, which can also be cycled.

For lovers of horse riding, there is a riding school just a few steps away, ideal for those who want to enjoy a unique experience in contact with nature while riding a horse.
The centre of Alghero is a 20-minute drive away.
The city airport is less than 20 minutes‘ drive (12 km) and the port of Porto Torres is about 30 minutes’ drive (31 km).
The world-famous beach of Stintino ‘la Pelosa’ is just over 40 km away, while the beach of Porto Palmas dell'Argentiera is 16 km away.
