Thanks for the 5 stars and repeat bookings. Glad you found it perfectly convenient.
This is the cleanest most charming home we have ever stayed. Our family of 6 (including our fur baby) had the best time.... only having one restroom limited our time for long showers but we made it work... if you hear a loud siren, it's ok.. the Fire Dept. is close by, there is no Tsunami. We don't have littles anymore but there is even a cool play area for them. Highly recommend if you're in Oriental and need a place to stay.

Wow. Cleanest and most charming ever? That is the highest compliment! Thank you!!
Very quiet and peaceful location ! Lots of things toDo and not so crazy like the more busier beach towns ! It’s what we were looking for and enjoyed every bit of the trip!
The house was so cozy and the beds were the most comfortable. We were in town for a wedding and the house had everything we needed for us to have a great weekend!

Stayed here for one night before camp drop off, plenty of room and super convenient to the town of Oriental. Didn’t get to enjoy much of the stuff around because it was a short day, but the bikes would’ve been loved by all. Hot water, cute house, great location- would gladly stay here again.

We had a wonderful weekend. The home was lovely, clean, quiet. Amenities were good. Kitchen was large and easy to navigate. The bed was comfortable. Very nice bathroom. Loved the screened in porch with rocking chairs to enjoy our morning coffee. Close to shopping, tavern, wine bar/ bakery - these destinations were walkable and lovely to visit. We look forward to visiting again!
The house was lovely, quaint and decorated with historic moments in Oriental. We definitely recommend this house for anyone visiting Oriental!

About the host
Hosted by Ashley Tointon
My brother David and I were willed our grandparents home when our father passed away in 1996. We rent it selectively so we can keep the place in the family.
Why they chose this property
This property was home to our great grandparents, our grandparents and is where our father grew up. We spent a lot of time there and continue to have wonderful memories there with our own families. With the numerous songbirds, 100 year old pecan trees and the original tin roof, you may want to stay a while.
What makes this property unique
Much of the furnishings are original pieces and photos of the Pugh family are scattered in the home. It is a special place and we welcome you to make your own memories there. It is a peaceful place and very relaxing. Use of the cruiser bikes is a wonderful benefit. Riding around the town on a bike is the best way to see it.
