The cottage was very lovely, and Ben extremely helpful on the check-in procedure plus suggestions for what to do in the area. Amenities are just down the road, and very good, and there's plenty of excellent walking in the area so great for a rambling holiday. Worth noting that the church bells chime every quarter hour, but a white-noise app or a pair of earplugs easily blocks them out - you just need to remember to pack that.
Beautiful cottage with everything you need for a short break. Loved spending time in this idyllic village. We had a fabulous time and enjoyed the local hospitality.
What a beautiful cottage this is, way better than the photos in my opinion. The location next to the church in a lovely little village is ideal. A couple of pubs and well stocked shop within a couple of minutes walk. Then just a 5 minute drive to Bude and its beautiful surroundings.Ben was super helpful and sent loads of information and recommendations before our stay which made check in super easy. The cottage itself is spacious and easily large enough for a family of 4. There are lots of touches in keeping with the 500 year old history of the place. The kitchen is well stocked and you will find everything you need to cook if you so wish. The garden at the cottage is just beautiful, with lots of sunshine and spots tucked away for a peaceful retreat to read or listen to the chimes of the bells.Stay here, you won’t be disappointed!
