ABOUT TOBY'S CRAB SHACK:
Toby's Crab Shack is a little piece of heaven right on the ocean in Brookings, Oregon - the banana belt of Oregon due to the unusually nice weather compared to the rest of the coast. Please note the icon on the map view is incorrect. Toby's is actually 2 miles north of Harris Beach and sits on a bluff right over the ocean at Rainbow Rock.

Stand in the living room, dining room, kitchen, or on the balcony to enjoy breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and beachfront. Fishing boats, whales, sea lions, and waves crashing against the big rocks are just some of the things you can experience right from your comfortable chair in the Condo. Walk down the beach trail that is full of beautiful plants, bushes, and trees to arrive at a fabulous, secluded beach with tide pools and walk through the cave.

Toby's is one of the more updated units and is very clean, neat, and tastefully furnished with comfortable furnishings in a subtle and calming color palette.

Settle in with the comforts of home at this condo in a peaceful, gated complex. Toby's is at the very end of the complex which creates a quiet setting and an unobstructed view to the south and west, both facing the ocean.

Brookings is a quaint town right on the ocean in southern Oregon only minutes from the California border.

PLEASE NOTE: The fireplace is not able to be used. No; boats, trailers, RVs, Smoking of any kind, animals, fireworks at all anywhere, fires on the beach below, or children under 9 years of age are allowed at Toby's Crab Shack. Thank you for your cooperation.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please start a load of white (only)towels in the wash with soap and a capful of bleach.
Please DO NOT strip the beds. It makes it easier for us to see and treat any stains.
Please leave keys and remotes on the counter and text Valerie upon departure, even if it's early morning hours. (541) 254-0460
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Children 9 years or older are allowed. No one under 18 is to be left in the unit alone without an adult. No running or yelling in the unit.
No RVs, boats, trailers, fireworks, or charcoal BBQs allowed. There is no use of the recreation hall. Max. of 2 vehicles. No Smoking/ Vaping allowed.
Multiple HOA board members live on-site and pay attention. Owners are fined if guests break the rules, ie. if guests bring animals, owners are fined.

Peaceful rest.

This was the perfect spot for our family. We loved walking down to the beach at low tide and finding the cave tunnel! Also enjoyed the trail out back. Amazing views, clean and QUIET property. Will definitely come again!

Beautiful Setting

The condo was clean and spacious and had everything we needed. The view from the balcony was amazing and we were able to see seals laying on the rocks in the ocean every morning. The beach associated with the condo was our favorite beach to explore and were able to see tons of crabs, starfish, sea anemones. Would absolutely stay again!

Amazing views, very well equipped, clean and quiet. This is now our favorite place to stay, and we have traveled all over the world. Valerie was excellent, she checked in on us frequently and was available when needed. We would definitely come back.

We stayed for the second time at this property and its been a great experience as usual. Specifically, the cleanliness, attention to details, the views from the balcony need to be highlighted. The location was perfect for our hiking needs. The check in process was smooth and familiar. Having the garage access helped as there wasnt enough parking spot. Will come back here.

Most amazing vacation spot

Wow, cannot say enough great stuff about this place, from the management to cleanliness and just overall great location and condo. We loved staying here and would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a comfy getaway location with fantastic views! Close enough to Brookings for necessities but far enough away to be out of the noise/hustle and bustle.

Wonderful condo with a fantastic view.

The home is fabu and the view is incredible. But the hostess, Valerie, is better than all of that. She called us before the tsunami warning and let us know what the sheriff was telling her. We left, to be safe, and Valerie made sure we were safe, invited us to her place, higher ground.

In addition to the title, complex is well maintained and secure. Has its own beach, which is a cove at high tide, but is a mile long at low tide.

The scenery most often looks like something out a movie, like an imaginary picture and mostly artificial. The best part about it all, is that is it not. It is 100% real and natural. The community is slow paced and welcoming. The food is comforting all the time, and its a perfect retreat to relax and renew.

What makes this property unique

Our property sits about 25 feet above the rocks of the Oregon coastline, close enough to hear the waves crashing 24/7 and watch each and every sunrise and sunset with a front row view. There is not a single house, tree, vehicle, or other that can block the amazing view of the Pacific Ocean.
