This 100-year-old Venice Beach home is located steps from the sand on a quiet pedestrian walk street. Enjoy the beach lifestyle in this two-story, Spanish-style house. Lovingly maintained, it has original hardwood floors, beamed ceilings, and antique furniture. The sound of the ocean will rock you to sleep at night. There is a small rose-filled garden in front and a barbecue and hot tub in back. Great house for family gatherings. The kids can play on the beach or ride bikes on miles of bikepath along the coast. Many great restaurants and shopping opportunities abound within walking distance from house. Trendy Abbott Kinney is just a few blocks away. Explore the Venice Canals just a block close. Beach towels, chairs, and umbrellas are also provided to encourage you to enjoy the casual Venice Beach lifestyle. A great central location for enjoying all of Southern California's attractions.

Charming house in the perfect location

We absolutely loved our stay here. The house is charming, bright and clean. It was perfectly sized for our group or 4. The location is an A+ dream - just steps from the Venice boardwalk and plenty of great restaurants in walking distance.

Great beach house

Two blocks from Venice beach.. lovely old home with modern amenities.. grandchildren loved the beach toys and adults loved the beach chairs and umbrellas.. look forward to stay here again soon!

Wonderful Spot

This is a marvelous place to stay. It's close to everything, but it's quiet and comfortable inside. They have everything you need in a beautiful, homey, relaxing spot. It was perfect for our get-away. Wish we could go right back and stay again next week!

The house was clean and comfortable. A super location to walk one block to the beach and attractions: basketball, skate park, walking and biking path, and the lively beach scene. Kitchen well equipped and modern. Enjoyed the hot tub. Having two private parking spaces is a dream. WiFi, TV, and everything else made our family get together delightful for old and young.

Fun at the beach

The house was very comfortable and close to the beach. We visited other LA attractions during the day and it was always relaxing to come back to the house in the evening for some down time. We will be back!

Great location!

Wonderful property steps from the beach! Great location near Muscle Beach and Venice Canals. We spent our spring break here; family with adult kids and grandma. We all enjoyed the house. There was plenty of room to spread out. Hot tub was great! If we come back to Venice, we will definitely stay here again!

Perfection!

We had a wonderful time staying in this cool, old house. Steps from the beach and all of the action, the house was nicely appointed, spacious, and full of cool artwork and nicknacks to discover. We traveled with three teens, who loved the easy access to the beach and the boardwalk. We loved the parking space, big rooms and awesome location. Highly recommend this property if you are going to be in Venice Beach.

Perfect family getaway

We had a wonderful time. Thank you for sharing you family home with us. The well stocked kitchen was a huge plus. We added some olive oil and maple syrup to the pantry. We took advantage of the all of the amenities especially since the weather was gray and rainy most days! Still a fun adventure!

Beautiful home a few steps from the beach

The home was meticulously clean and well equipped. Beds were comfortable. Nicely remodeled kitchen and baths. Plenty of space for the three couples who stayed. Loaded with charm and character and beautiful artwork. Enjoyed the hot tub! Just a few steps from the famous Venice boardwalk and beach. Short walk to the canals and Abbott Kinney. The parking spots are a big plus in this area. Looking forward to our next stay!

Was Everything!

We enjoyed staying at the beach house! The house was stocked with everything your own house would have. Plenty of blankets, towels, beds, kitchen utensils, toilet paper and paper towels. Lots of room for our big family of 7. The hot tub and grill were a bonus. It was chilly when we stayed there so the hot tub was perfect! Check in and check out was self service. You won't regret staying here!

Lovely!!!!

This is an amazing property. It has so many amenities. The hot tub is really the ticket after a good long walk on the beach and up and down the boardwalk. The kitchen was nicely appointed and provided everything we needed to prep Thanksgiving dinner. Tina is very communicative and the tenant next door is very kind. We just loved everything about this property and I hope to return for a girl’s reunion! It’s perfect for families, too. We were so thankful to have a beautiful home for our family gathering.

I'm Tina Walter, my sister Lisa and I grew up in this house. We love it and enjoy having guests that will love it too. Mom and Dad bought it from the original owner/builder and we are always making changes and improvements to keep the house fresh, comfortable and enjoyable.

Why they chose this property

The beach house is quintessential Venice. Built in 1904 when Venice was in it's grand heyday. It's a great way to experience Venice and Los Angeles, in comfort and style.

What makes this property unique

The house is 2 houses from the sand, so swimming and playing on the beach are our favorite pastimes. We like to walk to our favorite local restaurants and people watch on the Venice Boardwalk. The house is great for casual entertaining, the dinning table will seat 12 and we've furnished the kitchen with a lot of dishes and silverware to make sharing our home with your guests a snap.
