This 3 bed 2 bath house was built in 2005 and is located 1 mile from I-75 & 2 miles from UF campus tucked away right off of University/Newberry Avenue. The property now has a completely fenced in backyard, perfect for containing pets for peace of mind. This centrally located home is a perfect place for families, alumni, groups & gameday BBQ's as well as just a quiet getaway. The house includes a fireplace, 2 desks/workspaces, a fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, a master bedroom & bath with 2 sinks, multiple shower-heads, and a large soaking tub. The house has 3 beds (1 king, 1 queen & 1 full), 2 large reclining sofas, and air mattresses available. House is only <1 mile from North Florida Medical Center and a few miles away from UF Health/Shands. The very private backyard has a 4 burner propane grill, charcoal grill and seating area on the back patio overlooking a spacious and private backyard that backs up against a large wooded area.

I used to live in the house, but now live out of state and stay in the house when I am in Florida. So the house has many amenities that other rentals do not. I am not the best photographer and the pictures are an honest representation of the house. Many guests have said the house is bigger than it looks in the pictures.

Everything was as advertised, communication with the owner was great, would definitely recommend, very convenient to everything and in a quiet neighborhood.
This was a great spot for our visit to Gainesville. Close to everything and house was very inviting. Would recommend to anyone looking for more than a hotel room. This house had all the amenities needed for our stay.

Host is very responsive and accommodating. The home was filled with everything you would need…close to campus but quiet and cozy. The fenced yard was a plus.
The house was very roomie and clean. The owner was very flexible with checking in and out, and communicated well with us. The neighborhood was nice and safe enough for us to take a run outside. The kitchen and bathrooms were well-equipped with all of the extras, such as spices, dish detergent, shampoo..
Enjoyed our five night stay with our pets. The property is homey and perfectly located close to UF. My husband needed a large work space and this home has it all. Alex is responsive and a great host.
This was, by far, one of the best experiences we have had with a vacation rental. Our host went above and beyond to make sure our stay was AMAZING. If we are back in the area, this will be our first choice!

The house was great. Had lots of fun games to play and room for all of us. The only thing it was lacking was lighting in the back year and in the driveway at night time. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. Alex was great responding and if ever needed will stay here again.
The house was clean and perfect for the needs. We were in town for a wedding with all of us coming into town at different times. Getting into the house was simple. The only draw back was the number on the house were behind a large bush. The home had everything and more that was needed! There was a glitch with VRBO when booking, and the dates were off by a day. Alex, our host, was accommodating to the glitch. Alex was quick to respond and ensure all would be fine. The location of the house was amazing! If you are looking for a house in Gainesville. This is the place! Highly recommend! Also the hammock in the back yard was the winning feature!!

This house was my full-time home after I took a job in Gainesville. My job is still based out of the area, but I now work remotely and live out-of-state. I still stay at the house when I am in Florida, so it will be well stocked and have a warm, homely feel. Feel free to make yourself at home!

The house is centrally located in town with quick access to major thoroughfares like 8th Ave, 23rd/16th ave, 43rd Street, and University/Newberry Avenue, allowing quick access to the interstate (I-75 is ~1 mile drive), UF campus, Santa Fe College, all of Gainesville as well as surrounding smaller towns.
