Does the job if you just need a place to sleep in the area but it needs some TLC and the garden is over grown, not sure if the heating is working. I'd hace still rated it as average as lomg as your not taking the family on holiday but communication feom the host was dreadful. I shluld have tp asl a half dozen times for access info, its not necessary and it adds to the stress. No one wants to make a three hour drive without knowing they will be able to get in when they get there
The property is a little tired around the edges but was very clean and well presented. For some reason I didn't receive key code through Vrbo app but Christina very quickly responded to my contacting her and provided the needed info. In general the property was quiet, had everything we needed and in a great location for what we were there for. Having use of the garden and being only a short walk to the park behind plus local public footpaths was great given I was travelling with my dog. Local shop, baker, butcher, fish & chip shop plus pub restaurant were within easy walking distance. We were out all day but, for evenings and and any longer time in the property, there is a problem with the TV losing signal and the sofa could definitely do with re-stuffing. It would also be nice to have a small patio area with seating, so as to be able to enjoy the garden space more.
