We’ve had the privilege of staying at Galleon House several times now and it never fails to impress us. The location and sea view’s are incredible and it provides excellent facilities and comfort. A beautifully furnished and decorated cottage with everything being of a very high standard. Kitchen extremely well equipped. All over clean and comfortable. The best thing of all is the views. We had our binoculars and spent so much time watching the activities on the beach and in the sea. No shops nearby so make sure you take everything you need.

This is not the first time we have stayed at Galleon house and hopefully not the last, everything is Five star you couldn't ask for anything more,my Grandson and his partner came this time and they have fallen in love with Runswick bay and Galleon house.

Immaculate little cottage ideal for us two (though the living/dining/kitchen area would be quite a squeeze for 6, even though there are 3 bedrooms). Spectacular views over Runswick Bay. Everything you could possibly think to need was in the apartment. Great shower, attic bed very comfortable but you have to scramble over the bed to get to the window side of the room due to the roof angle. A whole cake, a bottle of prosecco, milk and orange juice on arrival. Pass provided for the residents car park. Fabulous location. Highly recommend this delightful property.

We had a brilliant time staying at this lovely cottage in Runswick Bay with my two young children. The location is perfect, overlooking the bay, and made a fantastic base for all our little adventures.The cottage was spotlessly clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The main bedroom was lovely, and the children absolutely loved their cosy little bunk-bed room — perfect for them to snuggle down after a busy day exploring.A lovely personal touch was the delicious homemade cake, along with a few fridge essentials, including bread and homemade jam. There were also loads of board games to keep the children entertained in the evenings.We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and made some lovely memories. Thank you, Sarah, for providing such a welcoming and wonderful base for our adventures. We’d happily recommend it!

We loved our stay at Galleon House. Wonderful welcome pack with homemade cake, Prosecco etc. Panoramic views over the bay, loved being able to watch all the happenings on the beach below. This is our 3rd time at Galleon house, and it did not disappoint. Everything was perfect. Attention to detail in this property is amazing. There is everything and more that you need. The kitchen is so well equipped. Bedding and towels are beautiful. Location is excellent, right in the centre of the stunning bay. We will definitely be going back.

Just wonderful!!! Location incredible, the cottage was just perfect for 2 adults and 2 little kids. It's so peaceful, so calm, views to die for. Wish i could have stayed longer. Our stay here at this property has been everything and more than expected. The welcome pack of homemade cake, homemade jam , bread, Prosecco, juice, crisps and milk were such a lovely surprise on arrival . The accommodation is stunning and the location is so perfect with beautiful views from dawn till dusk . Runswick bay is a truly spectacular village with such breath taking beauty surrounding, we were sad to leave. The local pubs serve lovely food the convenient royal hotel next door and the Elletby we found outstanding .Kindest regards Anna

Gorgeous, pretty cottage in a perfect position in the center of Runswick Bay with amazing sea views. Particularly loved the personal touches of the birthday cake and banner for my husband.
