Clean and modern however many things like power points, vacuum not working. Washing machine door didn’t shut properly. No basics in the accomodation like salt n pepper, oil or bread to make anything if you arrive late. It’s a steep hill down and up to get to the supermarket for essentials. If visiting during summer it’s lots of steep steps to the old town. Also note that uber drivers on many occasions wouldn’t take us to the accomodation due to the fact it is almost at the top of a windy narrow hill. Anita the host is also a hostile host and was very annoyed about other people (children) using the pool. There are cameras in the property which is also creepy from my view. Her messages were quite threatening for such a minor thing. We were glad to leave this accommodation early as she made us all feel uncomfortable. Unfortunately I don’t recommend this accommodation if you want a relaxing holiday. Clear communication and intend on travelling with other families

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. I am sorry that your stay did not meet your expectations. I would like to clarify a few points for future guests. Our property description clearly explains the location. Dubrovnik is well known for its steep streets, narrow roads, and many staircases, especially around the Old Town. We always encourage guests to review the location details before booking to ensure it suits their travel needs. The amenities we provide are listed accurately in the property description. While we do not advertise cooking essentials such as oil, salt, or pepper, we do welcome our guests with complimentary bottled water, juice, coffee, tea, and sugar. During your stay, I tried several times to assist you with the washing machine and explain how to operate it. The vacuum cleaner is cordless and simply needed to be recharged. I am always happy to help when guests contact me with any questions. Regarding the pool, our house rules, which are shared before arrival, state that only registered guests may use the property and its facilities. During your stay, an additional family who were not registered guests used the pool, despite being informed of this policy on more than one occasion. These rules are in place to ensure the comfort, safety, and insurance compliance of all guests, including those staying in the neighbouring apartment that shares the pool. The outdoor security cameras are installed only in the exterior common areas for the safety and security of guests and the property. They do not monitor any private indoor spaces, and their presence is clearly disclosed in the listing. Finally, I was disappointed that the apartment was left in a condition requiring significantly more cleaning than usual, with excessive rubbish and stained towels. I always strive to communicate respectfully and respond promptly to my guests. I appreciate all feedback and remain committed to providing a comfortable and enjoyable stay for those who choose to visit Dubrovnik.
