Comfy stay near Roundstone

Bluebell cottage is in a lovely quiet position, about a 15 minutes walk from Roundstone village. It is light and spacious and the kitchen is very well equipped. We found it to be a very comfortable place to stay and would highly recommend it.

Idyllic stay in Bluebell cottage

We had a perfect stay in this gorgeous cottage. We are 2 adult couples who love nature and walking and this place was in a beautiful setting. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking all our meals. Very clean and comfortable bedrooms. The host was easy to contact and very helpful. Close to dogs bay and Gurteen beaches and Roundstone village. The cottage would definitely benefit from some outdoor furniture and bbq facility as we had fantastic weather .

A wonderful cottage for our beach stay

Our family loved staying at this cottage. It is in a perfect location near the wonderful beaches of Dogs Bay and Gurteen, and close to Roundstone also. The cottage is a beautiful, traditional cottage, and yet fully modernised to be dry, warm, clean and so comfortable for our family. We look forward to our next stay at this cottage.

Beautiful house in a lovely quiet area

We had a lovely week in Cottage 486 and really enjoyed our time in the West. The house is placed in a beautiful quiet setting, with a lovely garden for our children (9&6) to play safely. The house is fantastically supplied with everything you could need with plenty of towels, hot water and kitchen supplies available. The only small improvement we, in hindsight, would have appreciated, would be one twin bedroom rather than 3 doubles - but we knew this before travelling so it didn't come as a surprise. Just something that might have been more comfortable with children. Lovely small beach and pier walkable, everything else within a short drive. We would bring bikes the next time. We were informed of an upcoming power outage 2 days before it happened, so we could make necessary arrangements, which was greatly appreciated. Roundstone is a fabulous place to visit and Cottage 486 was the perfect base for our family. We will hopefully return some day. Thank you

Lovely house in beautiful location.

Spacious, light and comfortable, this house is all on one level, beautfully presented, spotlessly clean and has everything you need for your stay. There is a useful porch for shoes and bags etc and the living room/dining area makes for easy living with an open doorway to the kitchen which looks out over a small grassy area to Errisbeg mountain. The kitchen is very well equipped, and everything in very good order. Good sized fridge/freezer, and efficient washing machine and drier. Mary (who owns and looks after the house) provides some catering basics such as oil, tea/coffee, milk, foil etc. The location is fantasic, set up a small and very quiet lane but only a mile from Roundstone which has a number of lovely places to eat / have coffee. The setting is lovely overlooking the harbour and across the bay. The local beaches are stunning and there are plenty more within easy reach.
