There is a king-size bedroom with en-suite bathroom. Outside, there is a non-enclosed, shared garden with orchard, paddock, fish pond, and livestock, along with private driveway parking for one car. Travel cot available on request. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. You'll find a shop in 2 miles and pub in 0.1 miles. WiFi, fuel, power, starter pack for woodburning stove, bed linen, and towels inc. in rent. Honeysuckle Cottage is a lovely base for a rural retreat in Somerset.

Die Vermieterin ist sehr nett und immer erreichbar. Sie kümmert sich auch sofort um alle Anliegen. Das Haus ist innen sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und es ist alles da, was man braucht incl. Fön, Bügeleisen, Kücheneinrichtung etc. Alles hätte sauberer und gepflegter sein können. Der Wermutstropfen ist die Lage, das Haus liegt direkt an der Hauptstraße und es ist sehr laut. Es gibt zwar auch eine Sitzgelegenheit draußen aber die haben wir wegen der Lautstärke nicht genutzt und gemütlich und gepflegt ist sie auch nicht. Wenn man viele Ausflüge macht und nur zum Frühstück und Schlafen da ist, fein. Aber für längere Aufenthalte tagsüber im oder ums Haus fanden wir es nicht gut geeignet. Die Lage insgesamt ist aber optimal, weil man vor dort aus sowohl das Meer als auch Ziele im Inland wie Glastonbury, Bath, Wells oder Cheddar gut erreichen kann.
