This spacious 3 bedroom, 2 + bathroom, newer town home, STR license number 0336, is located on a quiet street in the heart of downtown Salida. Downtown shops and restaurants, the riverfront, and the Monarch Spur Trail are all only a few blocks outside the front door. Inside, you'll find an open floor plan with a fully-stocked kitchen, a large table for family meals, and a comfortable living area with lots of seating. Large windows provide wonderful views of the S mountain, so you can relax with a book and peak out at the bikers snaking down the mountain trails. Three bedrooms offer a variety of sleeping options, including a large, comfortable master with a king-sized bed; a second bedroom with a queen bed; and a kids' room with a full-over-full bunk bed and a twin bed with a trundle. This house also has an attached two-car garage, to keep your warm and dry on cold days. If you feel like cooking out, you'll find a comfortable patio in the fenced backyard, complete with a gas grill.

Great stay in salida

Some friends and I were in Salida for the weekend and this was the perfect place to stay! Plenty of space to hang out indoors and the back patio was wonderful also. It was a convenient 10-15 minute walk to the main river park area of town. The host was very easy to communicate and work with. The place was clean and quiet.

Salida in the summer is almost heaven- Bill loves the mountain running (and biking) trails, Suzanne loves the crisp air, and the kids love the river. The winter isn't bad, either.

What makes this property unique

I love sitting on the couch on a sunny afternoon watching the bicycles weave down the paths around Tenderfoot hill, and I love walking to town to get the $5 lunch special at Moonlight Pizza.
