The apartment was conveniently located to downtown, and we walked almost everywhere. It also had one of the best equipped kitchens I’ve ever experienced (salad spinner and lovely stemmed wine glasses as examples). Check in and communication was super smooth, and I’d highly recommend the property if you are looking to stay near town.

A nice little setup on the east side of Salida. The layout easily supported 4 adults for two nights. Possibly the best stocked kitchen I have seen in a vacation rental.

This place was great! I wish were able to stay more than one night. We drove up for a soccer game at Ben Oswald Park and we were super close to that and downtown. The host was very nice, responsive and gave us great recommendations for restaurants. Highly recommend this spot!! Kitchen was amazing too.

The fact that the icemaker did not work was a real problem for me. Apparently, it is ongoing with no plans to have it repaired. Also, there are bugs which the hostess had an explanation for but is an ongoing problem. The home is nicely updated but located on a major road with lots of traffic noise so the patio or "views" cannot be enjoyed.

I am grateful that we have hosted over 3,000 stays in past decade at my properties and have thousands of 5 star reviews. However, I am saddened to read Gina's review because when we spoke on the phone she said everything was "great". Unfortunately the Ice Maker is located within the fridge door so it is never stays cold enough. As a work around we provide ice and ice trays so guests can make more with our 3 stage Reverse Osmosis water filtration system, so it is very high quality ice. We do our very best to try to meet guests expectations but sometimes you just have a miss match.

Exactly as described, a very comfortable stay. Beds and linens are soft, well stocked kitchen. Owners are friendly, no-fuss instructions, plenty of room for luggage/gear and parking. Tastefully decorated. Would highly recommend!

We loved our stay in Salida, gorgeous views in every direction. Jamie is a fabulous host, responsive and informative. The Phish prints added an amazing touch — some shows my partner had seen, so fun. The kitchen is well appointed and the tub not to be missed. We would stay again!
