We loved the location and the setup of the property. The shepherds hut was so spacious and had everything we needed. The hosts were amazing and very welcoming and even helped us with an extra night stay following some car issues on our first day that delayed our arrival which made our trip so much more comfortable.

Really lovely couple of nights at Cwt Clyd! Perfect for a little coastal relaxation reset. Hut was cosy, clean and welcoming - and you can see Ynys Môn / the sea from the window! Location was ideal, close enough to the farm if you need anything and secluded enough to feel like a proper little getaway. Coastal path is just minutes away on foot with beautiful views and access to the pebble beach at low tide. Owen is a great host; friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable about the local area. The log burner in the hut is amazing and gets the place really warm and cosy. The shower & toilet facilities (outside the hut) are pared back with lots of spiders etc - initially a bit off putting but all part of the fun when you lean into the experience. All in all a wonderful stay and the best value for money we've had, a real hidden gem. Hoping to return again in future for another warm Welsh welcome! Diolch yn fawr iawn.

Great location. Very friendly and welcoming owners. Just a note that the bathroom and toilet are actually separate to the hut, and you need your own towels. We had enjoyable stay with the cosiness of the hut and watching the sheep out of the window. The hut seems to be well insulated, as the nights were cool but the hut remained warm, even without using the little wood burner.

A beautifully renovated shepherd’s hut. Very comfortable and brilliantly insulated, so was really cosy during a chilly March weekend. The location is beautiful and within easy reach of the coastal path. Also well located for some beautiful mountain walks (and more). We had a very warm welcome from Owen. Thoroughly recommend this property!

We loved our stay in the shepherd's hut. It is beautifully designed and set up, really cosy and comfortable, and in an incredible setting with views of mountains, the Menai Strait and Penrhyn Castle. It's a really lovely and peaceful place to be and also very convenient for day trips to Anglesey and the Snowdonia National Park. We'll definitely return.

Wow what can we say other than we absolutely loved our stay. The hut was perfect with everything we needed for our two day stay, decorated beautifully and felt so comfortable and cosy. Ellen was an absolute angel waiting up for us after our very long drive. The toilet and showers were immaculate as was the hut itself. The surrounding scenery breathtaking and the property itself beautiful. After a 6 hour trip up and down snowdon it was amazing to come back and warm up in front of the log burner fire and enjoy a bbq. We cannot wait to come back for another piece of pure welsh tranquility. Thankyou for having us.
