Casa Licchia is an authentic Salento house located in the heart of Salento, in the small village of Martignano, just 15 minutes from the beautiful beaches of Torre dell'Orso, San Foca, Sant’Andrea and the Grotta della Poesia.

Arranged on a single level, the house preserves the simple charm of traditional local homes, with spacious and cool interiors. Inside there is a bright living room, a fully equipped kitchen and two connecting bedrooms, ideal for couples, families or small groups.

From the kitchen you step into a private courtyard with garden, a charming outdoor space that captures the atmosphere of Salento and offers privacy and tranquillity — the perfect place for outdoor meals or to relax after a day at the sea.

The entrance opens directly onto the street, where it is easy to park the car.

The house also includes a small study with access to the bathroom with window and bathtub. One of the bedrooms features high ceilings and a beautiful star-shaped vaulted ceiling, typical of Salento architecture.

La description indique qu'il y a deux chambres mais ne précise pas qu'il faut traverser une chambre pour aller à la salle de bain et aux toilettes, qui sont dans la salle de bain. La nuit c'est pas très simple . En conséquence ce logement est plutôt fait pour un couple avec deux enfants mais sûrement pas pour deux couples comme ce fut notre cas.L'équipement de la cuisine est très succinct, les portes d'un placard ne s'ouvrent plus, les prises électriques sont d'une grande fragilité. C'est un logement ancien, dans son jus mais qui mériterait une bonne révision. Ne serait-ce que la peinture des murs extérieurs dans le coin petit déjeuner du matin.Point positif : l'accueil de notre hôte était parfait et son fils communique très bien en anglais pour dépanner ou rendre service.

We will carefully check the issues you mentioned, such as the wardrobe doors and the electrical outlets, as we are always looking for ways to improve our guests’ experience while preserving the authentic character of the house.
