Great location. Nice amenities. With only one window that opened a little on the hot side. Give a little better instructions on parking. Overall a nice stay.
We loved our stay. The location is perfect for exploring Telluride, as you're walking distance to any activity in town. The suite was very clean & just enough space for two people to spread out & relax.

Thank you for your review, Sam. We are so glad you enjoyed the location and this sweet little property!
The property was well maintained and clean. Was very walkable to all of downtown Telluride. Would be crowded if more than two adults.

Easy check-in/out. Apt. Was as advertised, very clean with plenty of room for three guests. Short walk to gondola/chairlifts and town. Perfect for a ski weekend.

Frieda, thank you for leaving us a review. We are so happy you enjoyed the coziness of Viking Lodge 213. We love the proximity to both the ski hill and to downtown that location has. We would be happy to host you again!
We enjoyed our stay in Viking Lodge. The apartment was a perfect size for our visit to Telluride. There was lots of natural light in the sitting room. Everything was very clean and comfortable, and well stocked.

We appreciate you leaving us a review, Angela! Viking Lodge is a great location for smaller groups and couples. Glad you found it to be well stocked and clean. We'd be happy to host you again!
Property location and condition was great. Nice bottle of wine and note waiting for us to wish us a happy anniversary. Only complaint is that the bed is really uncomfortable and very hard.

Thank you for your review, Joan. We are glad you chose to stay with us for your anniversary. We know that bed preference is such a matter of personal comfort.
We enjoyed out 3 night stay greatly. The kitchen is well equipped to cook, make morning coffee, with full size fridge, and the unit was a comfy home base for our stay. Lots of storage for groceries or bags. Location is the best to explore town, short walk to gondola , main street and bike rentals. I enjoyed the extra blankets and pillows to make a comfy rest and reading spot in thr bay window. Highly recommend!!

Beth- thank you for leaving us a review. Isn't it nice not having to drive once you get here? We'd be more than happy to host you again. LEt us know when you are ready to start planning again!
I have no complaints about the property, it was as advertised and I would stay there again. The only recommendations I would make would be to have a little faster internet and a few more stations on the cable tv. Just recommendations, not a complaint. I enjoyed our stay at Viking Lodge.
We enjoyed staying in this property! My husband and I stayed for seven nights in late January/early Februrary. The walk to the Coonskin lift is <5 minutes and the gondola is just a bit further in the other direction. The unit was clean and well stocked. It was a great size for two of us - we wouldn't have felt very comfortable with any more people. As noted in other reviews, the layout is a bit odd - the front door opens right into the bedroom. We visited the hot tub most days and enjoyed walking to local restaurants. We were able to park our car for the entire trip without having to drive due to the great location. The communication from the team was great. We would definitely stay here again!
This was a great place to stay for 2 people. We were close to the lifts and town, so did not need the car. We cooked all our meals in the very nicely appointed kitchen. Our condo had views of the ski mountain and the creek, so after a day of activity, we could sit and watch the world go by. Just a lovely visit.
One note of caution. . .parking can be iffy. And, unloading and loading the car is easy enough, but you have to carry everything to the condo. We were on the 2nd floor, so not too bad. There is not an elevator. So, we unloaded everything on the side walk, parked the car, and carried it up to our condo. We are in our 60s, so very doable.

Thank you for your kind response, Peggy! We agree, the Viking Lodge has an incredible location, and great views. Thank you for the feedback on parking. It's true, the Viking Lodge parking can be tricky at times. Hopefully it wasn't too much of a hassle. As far as carrying luggage up to the second floor, there is an elevator in the other building. Unfortunately the bridge that connects the two building is under construction, but hopefully next time you visit carrying luggage up the steps will no longer be an issue! Thank you for staying with us, Peggy! Come back soon!
5 stars for the condo. Less than 1 star for the parking. Splitting the difference at 3 stars.
The apartment is beautiful. One of the prettiest views I’ve ever had in a vacation rental. Thoughtfully decorated. Walkable to everything in town. Sparkling clean. Comfortable bed, with nice linens.
However, the parking is a nightmare. There are far more residents than there are parking spots.
The first few days we could not park at the property. There is no overnight street parking in Telluride. The first night we paid almost $70 to park in a lot!
This wouldn’t have been quite as big a deal if the listing noted the parking limitations — it just says free parking. With all of this said, admittedly, we were there on the 4th of July weekend, so it was busy all around.
As noted the apartment is beautiful, just go in being wary about the parking!
The place is clean, small and cozy and it has everything you need, except a washer and dryer which really comes in handy when you travel with kids. They do have a coin laundry area in the lobby. You can only use liquid soap(not pods) and it closes at 10pm. The kitchen is super convenient as we made several meals in and it had a decent sized fridge to store our food as well as a dishwasher. Don't use the dishwasher if you plan on showering right after because it uses up all the hot water.
The main bed is very noisy and it feels like is going to fall apart(an actual metal piece fell off while we were there) if you move too much and they could definitely invest in new pillows and a mattress. The foldout couch was great for the kids but ate up the whole living space. The electrical needs to be fixed. The lights kept on flickering. If you travel with kids you may feel a bit cramped. It worked for us and may consider if we travel again with my husband alone but it was too small for us and our 2 girls. Overall the place was nice and did the job for an affordable price.

Thank you for your review, Martha. We appreciate your feedback and will take note of your observations. If you and your husband get time away from the kids we would love to host you here again!
My husband and I traveled with our 15 year old daughter for a few days of skiing. Viking 213 was perfect!
The master bedroom had a king bed, dresser and two nightstands, A previous review said the bed was squeaky, but it must have been replaced in the time since that review was posted because the bed was sturdy and comfy!
The bathroom was spacious and included toiletries, plenty of TP and fluffy towels.
The kitchen had everything anyone would need to cook including basic spices and oil. The freezer has a great icemaker. They provided enough coffee for about 10-12 cups plus creamer/sweetener and that started us off perfectly on Day 1 of skiing.. We easily made breakfast each day (eggs/ omelettes/fruit/toast) and assembled a nice cheese board each afternoon.
Our daughter slept on the pull-out sofa and said the mattress was comfy enough. There were extra blankets and pillows in the oversized hall closet - she was warm and cozy!
The layout of the condo was great with the doors that closed on either side of the bathroom. It ensured privacy for us and our daughter.
Viking Lodge is a quick walk to town or the Gondola. It's even closer to Lift 7 which was more than manageable with our ski gear and it was great to ski right back down to the lift at the end of each day.
We would stay here again - maybe next year!
Stayed with wife and 16 year old daughter. One of the easiest, nicest, cleanest, clearest and best vacation rentals I have ever used. Entire check in and check out is clear via digital guestbook.
Massively well-appointed with all the appliances and utensils you would need. Great window seat with river, mountain, slope and gondola view. Comfy bed and great shower (water pressure).
Excellent location is walking distance to gondola and Main Street.
Best thing ever: they left a birthday card for my daughter knowing it was the occasion for our visit. Seamless, perfect.
Great to be just a short walk from lift 7 as well as downtown. Condo quiet. The kitchen was the best equipped ever. A minor detail, but it was great to have a door code instead of having to keep track of one more item on the slopes.
Perfect skiing location.
