Beautiful cabin; perfect spot! Comfortable bed; great lighting. We did have our own ice maker-plus bought ice. Tiny frig but still able to use for foods we chose to grill on sight. (May want to bring an extra blanket for bed.)Grazing white tailed deer every evening and some mornings. Wonderful history here and great access in either direction! We were honored to have an absolutely lovely conversation with Richard too! We learn so much from our elders! We will never forget his kindness, patience, and ‘gift of gab!’ We could have listened to Richard much longer! So, take advantage of this area, this VRBO! Thank you McDonald Mountain Ranch!!

My kids wanted to make sure I gave a review - they absolutely loved staying at the cabin! It was clean and had anything we could have needed. The setting was peaceful and relaxing and in great proximity to everywhere we wanted to visit.

Fantastic cabin in beautiful setting

We rented this property based on the reviews which were all glowing and we couldn’t have been happier! The cabin is very small as shown in pictures, but so incredibly relaxing, beautifully decorated, clean and has everything you need!

Cute Cabin

The cabin was perfect for our family trip to South Dakota. It was clean and had the necessities we needed. Very quiet and peaceful. Enjoyed seeing the deer and turkeys in the morning roaming outside our windows. Great location for all the sites we planned on our trip.

We stayed in the Carol Jean cabin and had a fantastic experience! Very clean accommodations with everything we needed for our stay. We hiked back to Lakota Lake one day which was beautiful! This property is secluded, quiet & a peaceful retreat for a black hills vacation! Thank you for sharing your property with us and hopefully we can come back some day!

Great location to use as base for visiting Custer State Park, Mt. Rushmore, Wind Cave NP, and the Crazy Horse Memorial. The small kitchenette was well equipped and made it easy to grill out and watch the deer in the evening grazing in the pasture. Enjoyed the front porch swing every morning with a cup of coffee. Highly recommend!

Great stay in Keystone!

Cabin was super comfortable, location was great and bed was comfortable. Nicely stocked for needs. We brought breakfast and lunch supplies with us, slightly larger fridge would have been nice for us, but recognize that not everyone will travel like us.

Awesome Cabin

We have stayed in many VRBO properties and this is one of our favorites. It was clean and well stocked for guests. I loved sitting on the swing and listening to nature. A great location to enjoy the Black Hills and surrounding area. Beautiful decor and well maintained.

Fantastic place to stay in the Black Hills

Fun little cabin to stay in near Keystone. Tucked away so you have peace and quiet. Our kids enjoyed seeing the deer come right up onto the property. Quiet little cabin with a loft the kids could stay in. Wood cabin so you get the outdoors fell, but also all the amenities we needed. Would definitely stay here again!
